Beautiful bookstore AND reading room! Friendly people! Definitely worth stopping by. The book sales are limited, but definitely cool to stop in anyway.

This place with such a vibe!!!! Truly a lovely third space to meet beautiful (outward and inward) and informed Black people. I find ppl congregate here on a common front for true equality and forward thinking consciousness/ change. I overheard and got invited to many beautiful conversations here and hung out here for quite some time!! The shop is placed in a historic part of Atlanta and it really ties in well with the surrounding areas. It’s honestly my favorite bookstore in the city that I had the pleasure of going to for my first time in Atlanta, and I’ll never forget the experience. I had the pleasure of also meeting the owner. She was the sweetest person I could ever meet, as well as her friends! They really welcomed me with open arms, so much free knowledge to partake on the center table, as well as rare books and media that are fair priced. I got a shirt and tote bag too!!

This place looks dope but came here twice and it was closed both times. Very disappointing. There ig says they’re open from 12ish-5ish, but that seems incorrect/inconsistent.

Came here twice on different occasions and it was closed both times despite the time displayed online saying it would be open. There’s also no number to verify hrs.

Great bookstore and reading room specializing in Black books, records, and paraphernalia. You can spend a good amount of time looking at everything, listening to the music, and/or talking to folks sitting at the center reading table.I picked up an incredible hard-back Langston Hughes book of poetry and design inspiration on my last trip (see photo). Recommended.
