Jarmen at GA Own CU was super helpful in getting us the best rates on our auto loan. He was quick and responsive to help us wrap up the financing for TWO autos. I'd use GA Own CU again and specifically ask for Jarmen for assistance. Appreciate it!

I was recommended Georgia's Own Credit Union from co-workers and I feel so happy I did, the loan process only took less than an hour, with approval and opened account. Mr. Wesley was so helpful, fast, friendly and very knowledgeable, I felt so at ease because I got my car that same day and enjoying it very much. I totally would recommend them, and happy of that decision.

The wait time at this branch is ridiculous. They have one teller multi tasking both the teller window and drive through. Not good for the customers wait time. Always plan on being there longer than anticipated.

Had a smooth experience with an auto loan application process. I met with Jarmen Wesley at the branch and he was thorough with the process from initial application to approval and the interest rate I got was much better than another credit union offered me! I had my account dormant for a while but after this experience I will use it more ..Salute to Jarmen for excellent customer service !!!

I’ve been banking with GO for 15 years, visiting various branches throughout the state. The thing that has kept my commitment is the customer service and that you are guaranteed to develop an interpersonal relationship and that starts to reflect in your service. You visit enough, they know you and already anticipate your needs. I recently moved to Brookhaven and the Perimeter branch became my location. Jarmen helped me settle things regarding my personal account and set up my joint account with my partner. Beverly always gives a great smile when I visit for withdraws and deposits. Thank you to the PCE team!

Business customer here, visiting the branch several times you have 2-3 people talking to each other and one person working. Poorly ran, shame on leadership for not seeing this awful service.

$35 overdraft fees...even when it's the bank's fault, in spite of showing up in person to confirm a check as valid for deposit.It's INTENTIONAL - they count on milking customers via overdraft fees to stay afloat. ANY bank is better than this one, where their motto is "The Customer Is Always Wrong"...@DavePreter $700 worth of bogus overdraft fees after approving a check in person turned into a 'he said, she said'...the customer (including those with six masters degrees and a successful military career as a Nuclear & Combating WMD Officer) is always wrong at Georgia's Own.

Be forewarned... If you are a person of color, you will be treated differently and your business is not welcomed. Any attempt to open a new account is really a waste of your time. The management of this branch clearly does not care for anyone who isn't white. It is an absolute shame to allow an employee, aka the manager who has been with the company over 20 years, to be in a position where she cannot conduct business properly. Her attitude, along with her fellow same-complected cohort, is absolutely deplorable and unacceptable. This is the representation Georgia's Own Credit Union has in place in a market where the population diversity is major. However, it appears this particular branch prefers to have a customer base that is lily white.**In response to their reply, if Georgia's Own would take the time to thoroughly investigate these mounting indistinguishable complaints and reviews, and devise remediation approaches to fix, then their ratings wouldn't be so low. They have scores of reviews from people across the internet claiming the exact same thing per their own experiences. This isn't coincidental. It is majorly clear as day that there is an ethnicity/race factor at play within their operations yet they turn a blind eye to it and want you to contact them via their supplied email address from a canned apologetic reply as if that will correct the problem. If there were negative number ratings to give I would rate with the highest negative. Georgia's Own...it is past time to let go of the prejudiced and racist employees you have on staff.

If you want to bank with an antiquated bank that makes you feel like yourself still in the 1930’s then this is your place! All of Georgias Own Credit Union as a whole is a JOKE. Save yourself the time and stress and go to a real bank.

We went 1 hr before the branch was closing..Krystal the bank officer sensed the urgency and worked with us to take care of our needs. She is knowledgeable and helped us out.
