clean and organized but waaaaay too chatty at checkout. they had two cashiers yapping to everyone in line, chatting about the items they bought. when it was my turn, they inspected every item i bought and wanted to have a conversation about it.
i’m all for friendly customer service, but this seemed forced in an attempt to get good reviews. they also basically forced me to scan a qr code to do a survey….no thanks.
here’s my feedback since you so desperately wanted it: stop being so overly friendly in an attempt to win people over, especially when it’s slowing down your line.

Goodwill be scamming people out here. They want to be charging HomeGoods prices but not want to accept next day returns. Found out the hard way they only accept returns on apparel only. Quit scamming peoples hard earned money Goodwill. You literally make millions off the backs of hardworking Americans.

This was a mistake. I didn’t even know I’d reviewed it! There was NO negative issue ; in fact , the young lady who came out to assist me was very helpful. I only had a drop off.
Edited review: 5 stars.

Horrible experience. I am in here 2-3 times a week. Nancy is extremely rude. I was on an important phone call and she had the audacity to tell me next time I come through to not be on a call. Every time I come in here she is in a bad mood or has a rude comment. I thought they were proud of customer service as they always push the survey? Very caught off guard someone would say that, especially when you don’t know what someone is going through. I am not one to post reviews either but someone in management needs to have a conversation with Nancy.

Heavy loss in CDs, with the disc being stolen from most albums on shelf. Homeless and crackheads in parking lot.

Worst experience I’ve ever had. Went in with my husband and son who found a bag of toys and a car he liked. They were both priced for 4.09$ I noticed because I thought a car cost the same as this bag of toys? Oh well no big deal. Didn’t look too much around since we noticed the line was getting long. Got in line and waited for about 10 min and the line didn’t move. My son was running around and trying to be mindful of everyone I decided to take him outside while my husband stayed in line. Waited outside for another good few min when my son started crying getting impatient. My husband came out and told me they didn’t sell him the bag of toys because the tag had fallen off and they didn’t sell anything without a tag. I was upset, other goodwills I’ve been to they put a price on it right then and there, also because I had waited way to long for us to not even get the bag of toys. Went inside and told Nancy (the cashiers name) what the price had been and that I was sorry the tag had fallen off but I did want to buy it, where she told me she had to go to the back and get it priced. Mind you she was checking someone out and one of that persons things didn’t have a price on it and she priced it herself. Got back and told me 3.99 was the best she could do. I said it was fine, no big deal what the price was I just wanted to pay and leave. I apologized to her telling her I was sorry if I was being rude. She answered with sure whatever I bet you are and started accusing me of taking the tag off. Telling me I was getting too good of a deal and there was no where else I was gonna get this for that price becuase she knew it wasn’t 4.09$. I’m sorry? I thought I was at goodwill.
The interaction was longer with her being very rude to me which I’m not going to write all down or this would be longer than it should. Needless to say it was very upsetting how everything was handled. Nancy was rude to other costumers as well. One lady even told her to calm down. I don’t think someone like that should be working in retail.

I entered the store and saw a tv (turned on) that was on the front counter and I was immediately interested. I walked up to the Tv and didn’t see an obvious sold sticker on it and saw a ticket next to the tv. I started to read the ticket and I think her name is Laverne told me “You are in somebody’s else business” with some serious attitude and snatched the ticket away from me. She is older short black lady with grey short hair. And then “Corey” (black man with beard) a guy that works in the back walked up and “he sure is in somebody’s business” I just walked away being the mature person and they continued to talk about me. They both don’t need to be working in retail. EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL.
They could’ve easily told me “it’s sold” but they had to be rude.

So aggravating … no one in line?!? Yes! I get to counter and sure enough there’s a problem with the register … no credit card … ok I’m getting a 0.77 book here’s a dollar… cashier is struggling and won’t ask for help … other cashier comes over not to help but to open another register… time crawled by in slow motion… epic fail hold this L goodwill

Yesterday, I had the weirdest experience here. I was paying for my stuff at the register when I had changed my mind about a pair of shoes. As my cashier Laverne is scanning my items I said “oh sorry I changed my mind about these” and put them to the side on the counter and she stated she hates when people do that, cause it’s her who has to put it away. And how hard it is for her. Etc. And she kept going at it loudly that the customer next to me over heard. After that embarrassing moment, I offered to put it away myself. It wasn’t a big deal until it was made into a big deal. It was all just so weird and never gone through something like this with a cashier.

Employee spit on me and when I tried to complain he round house kicked me and left me on the floor... like I'm serious he was on some ninja crap I didn't even see it coming. I was shocked. I tried to get up but I got full-nelsoned and I couldn't escape until closing time. The prices were amazing though!!!
