I went to Great Clips for a haircut, but it was not a good experience. The stylist did not really listen to what I asked for and instead seemed to cut my hair in her usual way. Unfortunately, this completely spoiled the haircut, and I left very dissatisfied.

I went in yesterday just get the back of my hair TRIMMED OFF. I think her name was Kim or kimmy. Asian lady. I told her I wanted the back a little bit shorter. I kept telling her not to cut too much because my hair is curly so it will be even shorter when it’s dried but she would not listen to me. I knew by the first snip that she messed up. She kept talking over me and telling me I am wrong. I left the salon because I knew they were going to gas light me. I later called to let her know that she really messed the back of my hair up and once again she kept yelling over me a not letting me get a word out until I had to ask her to let me speak! She was all around PUSHY AND SUPER RUDE. Now I am going to another salon to see if it can be fixed but I really just don’t like how she was rude and kept talking over me. This is MY HAIR. I am the customer!! Not you. Be nice and have compassion. And SLOW DOWN and listen to your customers. All around a horrible experience. Unless you’re a man getting your haircut, I would never go to great clips again.

I was previously going to a more expensive salon and was long overdue for a cut but knew I wouldn’t be able to get an appt any time soon. I easily checked in with Great Clips online and went to the store. There was no wait time, even for a Saturday and I was promptly seated. I had my hair cut by Chanice and she was so incredibly sweet and gave me exactly what I needed for my hair. After the cut, I even got a nice little goody bag and coupon for the next cut. I’m a happy customer and recommend this business!

Chanice was amazing! I’m sensitive to getting a haircut due to an issue that happened years back.. long story short, my hair was noticeably different lengths from the back to front. Chanice was kind and observant of this, asking polite questions. I expressed my main concern was having it “just look like it is suppose to be that way, a styled look”, which then led to the topic of buzzing the nape of my neck… expressed I was open to this and ended up with a haircut I couldn’t stop smiling over. She made me feel fresh and new. Absolutely love the cut. Thank you, Chanice for your wonderful care and fabulous work! :) <3

Excellent and quick! I don’t do color in my hair so I always use great clips when I need a trim. Kammy did a great job and she is so fun to talk with.
