Trust the low reviews. Don’t bring your car here. They will fix one problem but create bigger ones hoping you will return to spend more money. Very money hungry. Maybe they are struggling to stay afloat so they are charging ridiculous amounts and not even fixing the real problem. Customer service is not even all that great. They aren’t personable at all.

Completely smoked my 68RFE transmission on my 2012 RAM 2500 4x4. Been really strapped for money, but need the truck to work. They were willing to do a bench build for me if I R&R’d the transmission myself. I spoke with Allen, the builder, and he was very thorough in his explanation of the weak points of the 68RFE, and his best advised route for repair. It still cost a pretty penny, but the 68RFE is an expensive transmission to rebuild. I did the install and programming myself, and then brought it back to them to double check my install. They gave me an all clear, and my truck drives wonderfully. Hauls my trailers without issue, trans temp stays around 168°F, and I even got a little bit better fuel mileage!
I send all my friends and customers here when they have transmission issues, and they’ve always done right by all of us. Can’t recommend Wayne and his team enough.

They just charge too much and are not worth your guarantee. They only want to take your money and leave you with the problem.

Don’t take your cars with transmission issues anywhere else but High-Tech Transmission Services. Wayne was incredibly helpful, HONEST, and very knowledgeable. He and his team worked with my warranty company and made all the claims/phone calls so I wouldn’t have to, and got my car back to me with a new transmission in a very reasonable time.Wayne called me every few days to update me on my car, the process with my warranty company, and the installation of the transmission. When I went to pick up my car, he also showed me some of the trouble parts from my transmission and gave me great preventative maintenance advice so that I can really extend the life of my new transmission as much as possible.I recommend Wayne and his team for all of your transmission and will only use him in the future.

Gave them my car with one big problem. Got it back with several small problems. Did not receive the service nor attention I thought I was paying extra for. Would not recommend.

Wayne and the team at high-tech we're AWESOME! They were tireless about finding out what was wrong with my 2013 Tahoe and transparent and honest about what was needed and cost. Being able to trust a mechanic is so important and I knew I was in good hands the whole time and would recommend them to anyone looking for transmits work!

No one wants to have their vehicle wind up at a transmission shop, but if you have the misfortune of reading this review, High-Tech Transmission is the only place in Atlanta you should visit.I brought in an older vehicle with an automatic transmission after experiencing some major issues while driving. I worked with Wayne, who was honest and straight forward about the work that needed to be done, and what I should expect in terms of cost and time. They had to order parts which caused delays, and Wayne kept me updated through the process. After the work was done, Wayne gave me a detailed explanation of what they did, and got me back out on the road.Service: Transmission

Was excited about the reviews I read. I paid 3k to get transmission removed and brought over to high tech after speaking with Wayne several times. After 30 days they still have yet to even touch transmission every week it's a new lie. Mind you I'm paying 25$ a day for storage cause it's on lift at a shop. So do not waste your time. No consideration of other people
