If I could take it to less than one star I would. No matter how many mistakes the employees at Home Depot make, the contractor always has to pay for it. When is there going to be a better building supply!?!?

This Home Depot went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer. During the most recent “snowmaggedon” I was on a desperate hunt for ice salt. By the time I arrived at this location I already visited an Ace Hardware and another Home Depot location, who were both out of this product. Upon arrival at this location, around 11:30 a.m., they were beginning to close their doors for the day. I asked if they had what I was looking for only to be met with more bad news. At this point I had given up hope, until the store manager offered a bag of ice salt to me free of charge, a bag reserved for the stores’s own use! I was touched by this act. Kudos to you!

I recently rented a stump grinder from the Buckhead Home Depot, and it was a complete disaster. The tool did not work at all, despite my best efforts to follow the instructions. When I brought it back to the store for help, none of the staff could get it to function either. Instead of resolving the issue or offering a replacement, they still charged me the rental fee!
It’s outrageous to pay for a service or product that doesn’t deliver what’s promised. Not only did I waste time trying to troubleshoot the defective equipment, but I was also left without a functional tool to complete my project.
The lack of accountability and customer care was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend renting from Home Depot to anyone. This experience has made me rethink ever shopping here again and solely using Lowes for all my home improvement needs.
