Made an appt. Freya was helpful and explained everything to me. But as soon as I paid the $275 ( I wish I had known about this before hand bc that is way too much) no one is returning my emails or helping me. I’m going to have to learn this crap and do it on my own for next year.

The tax pro was very good but after I paid the fee and received the return, no one returns my calls and messages. Very annoying so I probably will try a different tax company next year. I felt like after I paid the fee, you you figured you could just forget about me after that.

Anything beyond a simple W2 tax return is too much work for them. They are unwilling to work with you if your tax situation is too complex. The guy I worked with didn't want to deal with me quickly after I started to explain my tax situation as a self employed person. Do not expect to get the biggest return and the most deductions possible here. And expect to be overcharged for the most simple tax returns. If you have a complex tax situation get a CPA. If you have a simple tax situation, just use turbotax. It'll be much cheaper and they'll do a much better job.

I filed my federal and state taxes here with Sonia! Be sure to check your paperwork before you accept your refund. I did the virtual process where I didn’t have to go into the branch & I know for a fact I selected direct deposit yet my information was changed from direct deposit to a paper check. I was charged $25 extra for the paper check & now I also have wait 7-10 days before I receive it. & also have to go into the bank to cash it and wait another 48 hours while they clear it. All the years I’ve filed taxes I’ve never received a paper check. This is a BIG inconvenience to me. Also requested a refund advance that was ALSO NOT requested when my refund was submitted. I am currently in a financial hardship & this entire process I was lied to & I will never be filing with THIS location again.UPDATE: the “assisted agent” was no help, I had to personally call THEIR Emerald Financial Services to confirm if my mail check was sent & I also had to do my own check replacement form which NO ONE IN THE OFFICE attempted to help! FIND A DIFFERENT OFFICE this one doesn’t care!

Convenient location, easy to make appts. & I've never had to wait. My tax pro (Avionne) is the best - I've seen her 2 years now and like that I can keep the same person. Love being able to upload my docs pre-appt. which makes for less time in-office. I'm confident my taxes were done properly and accurately.

I appreciate the lady honesty she rescheduled my appointment to a co worker at this location that has more experience. I forgot her name , but I appreciate Ryan for not being a gatekeeper. Clearly my husband and I had questions and he was more than happy to politely insert himself into the conversation and deliver… I love when people are knowledgeable and don’t mind sharing helpful information!After reading other reviews I’m keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well !!

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. The people at this location are incompetent, lazy, rush to get you in and out of their business as fast as they can, and will make it very clear to you that they aren't going to work in your self-interest as a tax lawyer. Do not visit this location if you want to save money on taxes.

Normally do my taxes myself, but this year was going to be challenging. I went to the HR Block on Monroe Road in Atlanta and Tamara Little did a great job on my taxes. She took her time and researched every element of my taxes and gave me helpful tips for next year. The entire office was friendly and I felt valued as a customer. Definitely will refer this office to others.
