I am the owner of this office. I appreciate all reviews because it gives me the opportunity to improve and make adjustments. However miranda ybarra please don't get in Google and tells lies.
I did NOT prepare taxes for you. I prepared them for the gentlemen that you were with. I assume he didn't use his real name because he knows the review is NOT TRUE.
Sir you were late for your appointment. I still saw you.
You were rude to my staff. I still showed you the upmost Respect.
You said I was Great until you didn't get approved for the Loan.
The only thing you were truthful about is the fact that I have been in business for over 35 years serving this community.

Lady at the front desk I believe her name was Pamela (older lady with glasses and gray hair) was very rude after she told me she would call IRS on Monday in regards to filing with them because I came to the location on a Saturday. Monday comes I have to call her at 4pm because she didn’t follow up and said she was too busy and to call her back tomorrow. Needless to say I had no confidence in them being tax season and you did not follow up so I decided not to file with them. When I went in to retrieve my W2’s it was 2 people in the location just like it was on the Saturday when I went in. Poor customer service if I have to remind you of what you said you would do. Overall the agent Melissa (Who claims to have 9yrs experience per her bio on the H&R website but had to ask the front desk agent which forms to use) and the front desk lady did not seem professional or clear of what to do and I went to Jackson Hewitt up the street where they were much nicer and more knowledgeable. Avoid this location if you want your taxes done with professional customer service. Lady at the front desk got an attitude with me because she didn’t follow through with her word to contact IRS for my filing so I informed her I would go with another company.

I would not go to Pamala Baker to do your taxes! I made an appt online I had waited almost two hours to be seen with my toddler! When I was finally seen by her she barely asked me any questions ended up doing my taxes wrong like very wrong and she’s been supposedly been doing this for 30+ years. My tax return that she submitted was wrong by $3,300 and the next day I thought it was a honest mistake because it looks like she is the only one doing taxes there and is obviously struggling with the workload I called her and was very nice and had asked her to recheck my taxes for me she got very offended saying she didn’t do my taxes wrong wouldn’t even let me speak and so I asked her okay can we withdraw my tax return and she hung up on me. She was rude never answer my calls after my partner ended up calling and she was rude to her saying she called corporate and etc and ended up hanging up on her. If it wasn’t for my professional relationship with a very important person that works for H&R Block making everything right and fixing my taxes because she clearly did it wrong I would have lost $3,300 and would have owed the state taxes that I did not owe I’m not sure what she did to my tax return when filling it out but the way she handled this whole situation is honestly mind boggling because she happens to also OWN this H&R Block FRANCHISE and has been in this profession for more the 30+.

Made an appointment to have my taxes amended I called The day of to confirm my appointment and I was told that the tax preparer was not in the office. I asked if I can come at a later time and they were still not available. I scheduled a new appointment for the following Wednesday today I called to confirm the time and appointment and I was informed that the tax preparer would not be there until Monday as she is in Las Vegas just confused at why she’s taking appointments and not actually in the office and apparently this is the business owner .

I came in on the last day, normally I make an appointment, but I was treated the same the wait was long they kept checking on me and kept me posted on when I would be seen. The young lady was very informative and helpful with taxes and other questions. This was a different office I went too. I am thankful for my service.
