At H&R Block ask for Tax Analyst Philip Amoateng, a top professional who is well informed on the latest changes. He has been giving sound and helpful advice for many years. Ask your questions and do what he counsels. If he doesn't have a quick answer he will research the issue for you. You will benefit from your allowances and avoid awful tax surprises in your future. He is committed to the best outcome for his clients.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Went in last week. They told me they were super busy and could give me a 3 minute call on Tuesday. Tuesday came and went and they didn’t call. Then I called them. And they wanted to know how my experience went with my scheduled appointment today…. Then she couldn’t give me a time of when the agent could just schedule another call? This is a call not an in person appointment. Very unprofessional. Would never recommend them to anyone.

The worst tax filing experience I've ever had. Used an agent to help file, uploaded all docs by the 10th. Taxes were done incorrectly-missing income-which I caught before filing. Went back to agent-zero communication, zero acknowledgement of mistake, zero apologies.
Ended up missing 15th deadline by hours.

This location has been extremely difficult to work with. Despite having dropped off documents, paying service fees, and calling back several times my taxes still remain incomplete. In my recent follow ups, I had been informed that the documents I dropped off virtually and in person were not in the system. Furthermore, I was informed the office had been closed until January 2024 and I would not be able to contact them. Through my personal network I have been connected with another tax professional but I will not be using H&R Block moving.

Associate at this location a major attitude problem. Dealing with taxes is never a fun or pleasant experience. An agent with a foul attitude makes the experience even worse. I'd rather have a root canal than deal with this office. If you want good service & don't want an agent raising their voice or being rude, go elsewhere.
