About IRS peachtree summit building
The IRS Peachtree Summit Building is a government facility housing various agencies, including the IRS, Social Security Administration, and others. Visitors should be aware that the office does not prepare taxes and may need to find alternative locations for assistance. On arrival, individuals must go through security, similar to TSA screening, which includes walking through a metal detector. The office has improved its efficiency, allowing for quicker processing of visitors, but waiting outside before opening is necessary. Overall, the experience can vary, with both helpful and frustrating aspects noted by those who visit.

The IRS office doesn't allow you to sit and wait at the door before they open so you'll have to stand outside and wait if you arrive early or whatever.
