I wish I could give this location a 0. I’ve been shopping at J crew almost exclusively for 10 years for my business casual wear which I’ve always had to wear for work. I’ve probably spent tens of thousands in the store.
I went in today to return a few items and was met with a nasty look on arrival. As I’m walking to the counter past two associates they ask me me (after I’ve passed) if they can help me with anything (I have a j crew bag in my hand). I say yes two returns please. They make a joke that “we don’t accept returns on Saturday” ok?
Associate helps me and calls over his mangers. She refuses to return anything because she alleges they’ve been worn. Even refused to return the belt.
I don’t think I’d be exaggerating if I said returned maybe ONE thing in my shopping history with J crew which they could have easily looked up if they cared to (spoiler: they didn’t)
I don’t say a single word and walk out. I don’t debate with in store managers and was late for a flight to Europe. I’ll be reaching out to corporate and spending my free time over the next month connecting with someone as high up as I can prospect on LinkedIn.

Would have loved to purchase something here but the staff was quite engaged talking with each other and not helping clients find sizes not on the floor. Great selection but poor service.

The quality of this store has 100% fallen off! I love Jcrew clothing but just like the quality of Lenox mall has dropped off so has this store! You’re better off driving a little further and going to the Avalon … they have a better staff and larger selection …. I would have bought items here but the staff wasn’t interested in helping me, plus they just had bad attitudes!

Buyer be warned, you need to explicitly ask for the store to match online prices. They will sell you an item at full price that is available for a deep discount online. Also be warned that the store in not diligent with returns. I bought two sizes of a shoe - one in store (floor model, too small) and then on-line (happened to be $70 cheaper) — when I returned the former - they refunded the online order (wrong size, cost me $70 more). At best they are tardy, at worst they are trying to make a quick buck.
Otherwise the store is great. Inventory was good. Clean. Larger than downstairs. Representative helping us with clothes was lovely but staff at the cashier were distracted and unprofessional.
UPDATE: Manager was able to take care of us

I usually have an awesome experience but last week "Jennifer P" read out loud my PERSONAL INFORMATION(personal address,DOB, etc,) after I gave her my ID & she confirmed it in her computer w/other customers next to me and loud enough for everyone to hear. I’ve never had an associate due that before. Like come on man..rookie mistake. The next day I received a “someone tried to access your google account message” which was weird.

I ordered a cashmere sweater for pick up and Jenny was so helpful and kind. She told me they reduced the price even more and price adjusted the item in store for me several times. I saved over 50% of what I originally paid for! I naturally placed an order for 3 more sweaters in store with her help. I can tell she is an awesome employee to have at J Crew.

The manager on the Men's Shop was friendly and helpful as I was trying to make a return. However, the African-American lady with short hair who is the manager in the main part of the store was dismissive and unfriendly. She made absolutely no attempt to help and answered to everything with a "no". With that kind of attitude, retail is not the best career industry. Overall, the customer service at this shop is average.

I came into J crew looking for a wedding suit but had no clue what I wanted or even what size I was shopping for. I was greeted by a sales associate named Michael B. He was incredibly knowledgeable and very friendly. This is my first time experiencing such a premium level of customer support. Mike took his time and helped answer all of my questions while recommending suit pieces for me to try on. We decided on our pieces and I’m incredibly happy with the purchase!10/10 service, if y’all come to the store. Look for Mike, that man is a life saver!

The short, black, light skinned woman at the Lenox location first tried to speak to me as if I stole my item saying she didn’t see me walk in with it. Ok, I have the receipt I just want to exchange sooooo what’s the issue? I felt like she said that to me based on how I looked. If I was older she would have never said that to me. She then started saying I couldn’t exchange and I need to return. Bro I grabbed my sweater and left and reported her to the regional manager. I shop far too often at J crew for any clerk to try and insult me.
