I went to Kroger to get gas and after paying and leaving was notified by my bank that $150.50 was attempted to be charged from Kroger. After speaking with a rep today she shared that “sometimes Kroger puts a hold on 50% of your purchase" huh?
I need someone from corporate to confirm this and also this should be in writing prior to a customer swiping their card if this is the case. There is no reason I should be paying a deposit or having my money held for $30 worth of gas. I suspect foul play.

New management is desperately needed. The hot lunch section clearly states open at 11 and is consistently never open on time and you get ignored and receive dirty looks for asking for help. A good leader or manager can easily fix this problem

This place is the worst, please DO NOT buy gift cards from this location. They have already scratched off the numbers on the back and duplicated the cards. Loaded a $100 gift card and a few days later it was used at Target(per the gift card company) but NOT by me. Called the manager at Kroger and all he had to say was call the number on the receipt for a refund. smh

Back to update my review since i guess you can't leave 2... so me and my son were just kicked out of kroger bec we were eating a slice of cake before purchasing it... AND YES I DID PURCHASE SAID ITEM BEFORE EXITING THE STORE!! To give you the run down me and my son had 3 different slices of cake, we were trying to decide on which cake we wanted to use for my sons birthday. My son was hungry as most kids are after school and asked me if we could open one of the cakes while we shopped as we have done several times with no issue! I had to get pasta sauce for dinner so we rounded the corner where the pasta noodles and sauces were and i sat down the other 2 cakes and sushi that i intended to buy so i could open the cake for my son. A few moments later a man rounded the corner and told me we needed to exit the store. I asked him why and he told me because we were eating unpaid for merchandise. I explained to him SEVERAL times that i intend to pay for all my groceries. He replied with, "is that why you are hiding around the corner eating where there are no cameras?" Well i certainly didnt scope the scene to see whether there were cameras or not where we were standing, i was simply on that isle because i needed items from that isle. After repeatedly telling the man i am paying for all my groceries he still insisted that me and my child needed to leave the store. I walked to the self check out lane, PAID FOR MY GROCERIES AND WAS ESCORTED OUT OF THE STORE. On the way out of the store the police officer who sees me shop there nearly daily asked me what the issue was, i gave him the run down on the situation and he told me i should contact krogers cooperation on the issue and i certainly plan to do so! Had i walked around and let my child eat the food and tried to leave without paying for it then i could certainly understand the need to be asked to leave the store but that wasnt the case here! I paid for my groceries and was still publicly humiliated and treated as if i was a criminal! Yall have certainly got to do better!! I hope cooperate handles this matter appropriately and something is learned from this type of behavior because it most certainly wasn't professional! This store is the WORST!!!!

I would like to thank Mr. IDQuincy AM Self Checkout for one heck of an awesome customer experience. He went over and beyond his job requirements to assist me. Mr. IDQUINCY is Always kind, polite and caring! And so helpful. Also I Highly Recommend this location for fast and friendly Customer Service, Stocked Shelves, using Less Plastic and a clean environment! ? ThIs is my updated Customer Experiences Review since Mr. IDQuincy was never informed about my first review. AM Self Checkout is Always Awesome!

Today I had some great help from Vanessa in the floral department. With her experience she made the best set of roses. The care that she took with both bouquets just shows years there's Love spread around everywhere. Big shout out to the manager who suggested that I get more!

Update: They have made many improvements. New carts, much cleaner (no more fruit fly hitchhikers). I have found myself shopping here more and more. Hopefully they will keep going with their improvements.
It is called Ghetto Kroger by all the people in the area. They seem to have older produce. Less deals on meat. Fruit flies follow you home. Great for a quick purchase, but not major shopping.
