Very disappointed this evening. 6 pm and only 1 checkout lane was open. 25+shoppers forced to self checkout. Makes no sense?
6 yrs later no improvement

Revised Review today with 5 Stars. Went to check out and a Kroger Associate Zee noticed I was struggling to check out, honestly, I had back pain. Zee asked me if she could help me. I said definitely YES. She immediately took over, checked me out, and even baged my groceries in double bags for easy carry in to our home. What a great asset, Kroger has with an Associate such as Zee. Many. Many Thanks. I am giving Zee, Ten (10) STARS!
Big store with lots of selections. Downside as with any Kroger Store, is you better have a Kroger Customer Loyalty Card, because if you don't, you are in for a huge negative surprise at the checkout counter.

This is my 1st time at this Kroger location and my last. I work in healthcare and today was a very long day for me. I come into the store @8:30pm with my husband to get last minute groceries. We finished up shopping and proceeded to the checkout. When we reached the checkout there was a cashier who had no line and she was drinking something. I approached her line and started putting my groceries on the conveyor. I said hello ,instead of the cashier Jerry saying hello she had the audacity to ask me why everyone that comes to her line puts their food up instead of starting exactly where she was. I calmly stated that for one she didn't speak and that she had control of the conveyor to bring my grocery closer. She still proceeded to keep questioning why. I nicely asked her if she could please just scan my food and check me out because I was very tired ,hungry and had a headache. She still wanted to know why...I told her she has control over how the food reach her. I also told her that I didn't come to the store to argue with the cashier. Jerry needs to take a cashier class on etiquette and how to treat customers!!!! I will never visit this store again. I see why cashiers are being replaced by people. She's very rude and disrespectful!!!! How could you have somone like this working for you???? I will be alerting people about this incident!!!!! When a customer ask you to stop harassing her then you should shut up and just do your job!!!! This was the worst experience!!! And I'm sure the cashier next to her overheard the argument!!!!!

It’s unfortunate that I have to leave this review, but I wanted to point out the horrible attitude of Keisha at the customer service center. This morning coming into the Kroger’s it was packed with pre snow storm shoppers. I had two items that I needed ring up , all of the self check out lanes were full with customers and no clerks were available to assist with ringing up any items beyond that. Keisha at the customer service center only had one customer in her line so I thought to go to her for a convenient check out. Upon greeting Keisha and showing her the items I wanted to purchase she said “you couldn’t wait over there” I told her no I just needed two small items her response was “I thought you needed something important waiting in this line ” I explained to her that there weren’t any lanes open with clerks checking out customers and I only needed to get these two small items checked out. I attempted to make the best of the situation by still making friendly conversation asking her how her day was and even giving her well wishes that it gets better. She still was dismissive and visibly annoyed that I came into her line for the service. The irony of it all is Keisha is working in customer service with horrible customer service. I won’t be shopping at this location any longer in the mornings to avoid encounters like this.

Only complaint is that the cart stalls in the parking lot take up 4 spaces each and I am counting 10 total stalls that I can see from my car. They are usually out of alignment where they end up blocking excess spots. Hoping management sees this and fixes them. Taking up 40+ spaces in an already crowded parking lot is a little excessive.

Krogerwireless has REFUSED to make a simple correction to the service I have prepaid for a year, namely to correct the outgoing Caller ID displayed to recipients of my calls.

2024.12.3 1140A Ken will take effect by 4 Dec... or 'hopefully' 5 DEC
2024.12.6 1143A Laura >> transfered to supervisor Wins
2024.12.6 102P Ann >> transfered to supervisor June
2024.12.12 1008A Amy ??Emily restart, still not fixed > suprv Wins 'allow 14 days' 26 DEC

As of 3 Jan 2025, this straightforward correction STILL has not been made.

Cai very nasty. And after requesting to speak with the "manager" who was no better Katherine, very unprofessional. I don't know how these people get these jobs. Walked off on a customer then stated I can go elsewhere and never came back. I sure will, my whole family and I. Should have went to Publix anyway!

There is racism happening in the store, and as a customer, I was subjected to it.

I go to this Kroger because the pharmacy folks are always nice. I’m an old guy and my wife is in a wheelchair. When we shop for groceries, I’ll put a basket in my wife’s lap. That is easier for me than pushing a cart and a wheelchair at the same time. Today, we went through the self check-out lane. The short, stout, middle aged cashier in the self check-out lane offered to take the basket. I told her that we plan to use the basket to get our groceries to the car and I’ll bring the basket back in. Her immediate reaction was to raise her hands and back up and then make an excuse like “ I’m just asking .” She was implying that I was angry and aggressive. I was not angry or aggressive. I’ve been through the same scenario with her once or twice before. I’ll definitely avoid her in the future. There is no reason for her foolishness. She is a nut…. Also, we’ve been Kroger customers for a long time. But, my experience is that the Publix employees are always nicer and more professional than the Kroger employees.

I gave this store a good review before, but I can't help lowering it to 1 star after an employee called Destinee ruined my day and refused to apologize yesterday. I feel disrespected and scared of ever returning to what was once my favorite Kroger.

3 stars because of the employees. Not sure if everyone is newly employed or just everyone never knows where anything is located. I ask for assistance and everyone is always confused like they don’t work there. I’ve been here a hand full of times and have never been back
Update: giving 1 stars now as there is always a problem with employees. I had just left a different Kroger to purchase flowers but I wanted the small bouquet balloon on a stick. So I drove to this Kroger and brought inside my bouquet I just bought to find the balloon and fit and arrange them in the bouquet. I found the balloon purchased that and left. A few minutes later, the self checkout woman is chasing me to the parking lot accusing me off stealing the flowers I just bought. She’s raising her voice and even after I showed her my receipt from the previous Kroger, she is still saying I didn’t pay for them. I rolled my window up on her and left. She didn’t want to listen nor apologize. Terrible

Employee assigned in the cashier area is not customer friend in assisting proper with the customer. She just throw one of the item from the scanner down to the plastic bag areas which shes not supposedly to do that. Customer (me) PAID the for it. If she not happy serving customer quit the job. Experience this morning around 08:55. It was my first time experience this in kroger toco hill.
