2024 S U M M A R Y Generally, I don't like Kroger because they all seem very dirty and unkempt to me. This one is ok but I expected for it to be more updated since it's right next to Ponce City Market... alas, it is not. G O O D S There are certain stores in which I only buy the packaged goods, and Kroger is one of those stores. Simply because it just doesn't look very well kept or clean. The items that I come here for are usually bottled iced tea, cases of club soda and peanut butter cookies. I'll also buy the usual snacks, cereals, toothpaste, mouthwash, and things like that. Even though this Kroger is small, they have pretty much everything. A very good variety and I was satisfied . S E R V I C E Service is what you can expect in Atlanta, mainly filled with people who act like you're bothering them when you ask them a question related to their job. A M B I E N C E This Kroger is in a prime location. It looks pretty decent on the outside, but once you get inside, it's not as nice. But I do appreciate that they have covered and uncovered parking. Also, every time I go, there is a security officer on guard. Granted, he's not within the store, but by the stairs in the parking lot. But at least he's there. P R I C E Prices seem a little higher than the average Kroger. R A T I N G 2 Stars off because the produce could be fresher, and the place could be better kept.

Was recently here and treated rudely and disregarded by "police" or security officer Shawn (black woman). The outdoor window for Starbucks was closed so my daughter, my dog whom is a certified service animal, and I needed to go inside to grab our drinks. Shawn waited until our drinks were about to be handed to us to come close behind us and tell us we needed to leave and dogs weren't allowed. Did not once ask if it was a service animal for disabilities etc. Did not once greet us. Did not once explain any store policy. She was immediately rude. I explained to her I just needed my last drink, which was getting the top put on, and would leave when I got it. She cuts me off and says no and then continues to state we need to leave etc. as if that would help anything. My daughter, who's autistic was not about to go outside alone in the cold considering we were about to leave anyways. As we walk out i ask for her badge number and tell her my dog is serviced. She remarks, "well if your dog had gear I wouldn't have approached you anyways" denying her badge number and telling me to get from around her. She must've forgot she was just 1 foot away from my daughters face demanding things without respect. I take a picture of her and ask again for her badge but she states to complain to the manager of Kroger. I guess Kroger is holding deputy titles now since she didn't want me to know her department information. Overall rude, didn't give me a chance to explain myself or the services my animal provides, wanted a reason to keep arguing and make it clear of her power. She must be bored being assigned at Kroger and needs to consider taking her aggression to the streets of Atlanta. Make herself useful

I have been going to this Kroger for years the place never changes. I wish their fruits and vegetables were more fresh and the breads weren't so hard.. I also wish that people in the bakery were nicer.

Some of what we needed was out of stock. But that wasn’t the real kicker….When we went to check out the guy behind the customer service counter told a woman behind us to come in front of us though we were there several minutes before her!!! Though we told him we had been waiting at the exact spot he pointed to he still proceeded to call us liars. He made a huge scene and was on some kind of power trip. It felt like reverse racism!!! This incident alone will make me think twice about ever shopping there!!!

New Year's Eve. Very busy. Parked where I usually park when there are no available regular spaces. Never been a problem. When I came out the PPE employee was waiting for myself and the other people parked there to pay our fines. $75. There is one new sign in the back. Not near where I parked. I assume it mentions something about booting. I'll never know what it said because I won't be coming back to Murder Kroger. 28 years of shopping here (minus the years they were closed for construction). In the future, I will be purchasing groceries at Publix where they don't boot their customers. Happy New Year.

I placed a pick up order for 7pm-8pm. I sat in the pick up order section from 7:45pm to 8pm calling Kroger pick up and no one answered. On one call, I received an answer but they picked up having a side bar convo and never acknowledged me on the phone. The assistant manager James was called to assist me when I finally walked inside the store and he spoke to me in a very condescending tone. No apology no explanation for why no one answered the phone to bring me my purchase. He kept repeating “they close at 8.” I asked for a reimbursement and he refused to give me a reimbursement on for the items I did not receive.Another store associate informed me that usually, when something like this happens, the manager simply collects the picked items and hands it to the customer.I am very shocked at the lack of customer service received by James. He even went as far as to lie and tell me the pickup order is separate from Kroger and they do not have a manager. All of which is untrue (verified by Kroger customer service line)

Customer Service desk says to check with cashier for visa gift cards. I go to ask the ONLY cashier about the visa gift card and she knows nothing about it. I go back to customer service and she states they don’t have them yet. I ask for a manager and they refuse to come out of the office and Allison has to talk thru the door. No gift cards. Kroger is the largest supermarket in the US and they have no customer service and no visa gift cards. Great job!

ABSOLUTELY HORRIFIC!!! - 725 PONCE DE LEON AVE. ATLANTA, GA I bought some salmon from Kroger that was on sale. I got back home and began to prepare my dinner. I noticed the salmon had a whitish liquid in the sealed plastic it was in. I immediately went back to Kroger with receipt and salmon. It had only been in my possession approx 30mins. I got to Customer service counter and was told that reduced items weren't eligible for returns. I asked to speak with the store manager who took 20 mins to meet me at the CSR counter. He was rude and had no pleasantness about himself. He shrugged at me and told me I could not return the salmon after I explained I bought it about an hour ago and it doesn't look right. I asked him why doesn't Kroger display this policy in store or online so that all will know? He just said they would never do that!! This Kroger at 725 Ponce de Leon Ave. Atlanta, GA is the worst store I've ever shopped in and I will NEVER shop there again!!!

I have a friend with a disability that takes a bit longer to shop for groceries than the average person. He goes shopping on Sunday nights to avoid crowds. Tonight he spent $400 and spent 96 minutes filling his cart. When he returned to his vehicle, a boot was on his car. Thinking it was a mistake he asked management to help him, and they told him he shouldn't have taken more than 90 minutes. When he asked to speak to the store owner, management said he doesn't answer his phone. Jerry and Keisha the laughed and said "I'd he got $400 for groceries he got $75 dollars for a boot" management should be ashamed of how they treat paying customers, and I will do my best to convince my friend to file suit.

Hopefully you’re not reading this AFTER losing $75 like I did. The parking in this area is extremely tight. It’s too small for the capacity of employees and shoppers. I parked in the small open lot slightly down the hill from the entrance, simply thinking it was overflow parking. I come back and boom I’ve been booted. Beware.

I work in this store sometimes, it doesn't matter what time of day it is, you can't seem to get service here from the deli, the sandwich counter, the hot food bar, or the sushi. It's as if they always have an excuse as to why there is no staff. It's a pretty busy place. Maybe if they had enough staff, the staff that is here would be nicer but it's always an unpleasant experience at this store, it doesn't matter if I'm working or shopping. The service sucks.
