I reserved a room and arrived at 6:30pm and was asked to wait an hour for it to be ready. Checkin was 3:00pm. The room assigned to me was occupied and I did not feel safe staying at the hotel; what if someone else was given access to my new room? The front desk staff gave me a refund and was helpful but overwhelmed. I wish it had worked out because the location was ideal for our roadtrip.Safety: I didn’t trust the hotel not to double book my room and (however inadvertently) give a stranger a key.

For this past weekend i went with five other people for a one night stay. The lobby smelled of something my best friend described as "thousands of old ladies at a convention all wearing the same perfume". They also had Friday the Ice Cube movie playing in the lobby, which while a great film, is not exactly family fare for a lobby. It was so strong she had to cover her face. At one point I became concerned, because we were forced to wait there for AN HOUR that this strong smell might trigger a migraine for me so we waited in the car an additional 20 minutes at least before we got one room key to a room with no soap to wash your hands, visible damage to the back of the bathroom door, and exposed brackets where a framed piece of art had been taken from the wall. The room we were supposed to be in was still occupied by a woman who had just gotten out of the shower and assumed that we had the wrong room. We didn't. We had to inform the hotel that their own residents had not checked out. Not only annoying but seems a little unsafe? After all of this we decided we were just leaving. Upon doing so we were greeted by a ripped open, empty lingerie box laying in the middle of the dropoff area.

I booked a two night stay and checked in late. Rats greeted us outside. They gave me keys on three occasions to occupied guest rooms. We walked in on a half naked couple. Staff blamed the computer system and said they would have the manager contact me and that did not happen. I drove from Philadelphia 12 hours and this hotel was the worst. I left after I saw the roaches and stayed with family. It felt creepy staying here and it’s truly one of the dirtiest hotels I stayed at in my entire life. I only stayed a few hours and the person at the front desk said I would be contacted by management for a refund. No one contacted meRooms: Dirty linen and roach infested

This hotel staff is nice. The manager is horrible. Apparently she is new and is never available.A few weeks ago I stayed here and the water was off. I went to the front desk and was told it was someone on the way to fix it. I asked should I just go somewhere else because I was tired and just got off the road from traveling. She said it should be fixed within an hour, two max. That was 11pm.At 2 am, no water. And now I’m so tired, I passed out IN MY CLOTHES. Woke up in the morning, NO WATER. No way to shower, brush my teeth, no face wash. Nothing. The front desk offered a bottle of water. The breakfast was a no as well. So they took our information and said management would contact us in a few days. That never happened.I contacted corporate and they said management gave us the option to go somewhere else, which was obviously a lie, management never showed up until the next day. And why would you take our information, if you offered us a way out in the beginning? Corporate offered initially 5,000 “points” towards a stay. Then raised it up to 7,500, saying that’s a free night to a LOWER TIER hotel owned by their WYNDHAM PROPERTIES.Why would I accept to stay at a lower tier hotel if I paid for a higher tier? That’s like paying for first class and they give you the last row of the plane.Needless to say, I have stayed here before with no issues, but I will definitely spread the word to my company that Wyndham properties is now losing our business account. This “last offer” resolution method they tried to use on me was disrespectful and disgusting. To the hotel manager, HIDING behind your staffs cloak is never the way. You will lose business behind this and at this point there is no need to reach out to attempt to resolve the issue now, since it’s been 3 weeks, and you still haven’t picked up the phone yet. Your corporate office is now involved and our business accounts are being removed from your future business.

When we checked in the front desk lady was not welcoming. The room was dirty and when we went to tell her and she got defensive saying it wasn’t her fault. When we weren’t blaming her. We just wanted a clean room. Then she said that if we didn’t like it there we could go somewhere else. After that we didn’t want to stay there any longer and cancelled the reservation. She said she didn’t know when I was getting my money back nor how much I was getting back. I still haven’t gotten my money back. I have never had a terrible experience at la Quinta before so I was shocked and disappointed.

Checked in here around 3. It's on the outskirts of town, so not too much traffic. It's tucked away in a little corner by a bridge. It was very nice and the front desk staff was nice too. We were in town to see Ghost Files Live at the Tabernacle. We didn't stay in the hotel too much except to shower and sleep. The bed was comfortable. Longer of the biggest TVs I've had in a hotel in a long time. The AC was cool. This was the first La Quinta I had been to that has a glass shower, so it felt really upscale. The room was definitely spacious. Everything was clean and working. Parking was ample. We did manage to find a place when we got back before midnight. Staff said the door would be locked, but it wasn't. I usually can't eat breakfast since they don't offer GF/DF options, my partner just got a drink and I grabbed a banana. I would definitely come back and stay again if I have the opportunity to visit Atlanta anytime soon.Walkability: Walked about 3/4 a mile to get my nails fixed

Breakfast was good....eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, cereal, and make your own wafels. Hours are 0700 to 1000.This is a dog friendly hotel but the downside is if the dog is left in the room alone, they bark at every noise.

Not what I was expecting from the Wyndham chain. Just felt dirty. Supposed to be smoke free but had a faint smell of smoke. Saw a roach the after showering first morning. Was supposed to stay 2 days but no! Mols in shower base.

Please take heed from the information giving in reviews that describe this place as smelly and staff is extremely unbelievably rude unprofessional impatient with attitude of racism please go anywhere else like I did I didn't stay 1 minute here any longer than I needed to. The fact that the young girl at front desk is totally ignorant on how to perform customer service. I wanted to see my room before checking in especially when other reviews said to beware of certain smells and certain bugs which I wanted to check before I paid for the room and she got mad and canceled my reservationI cannot stress enough of their unprofessionalism!!!!spend your money elsewhere don't take your family there ,any place is better!!!

Hotel was ok. Air conditioner was very light. No clicker in room. My biggest complaint - people here are not nice at all. You say hi- nothing. Stone cold face. You shoot someone a smile. They mean mug you. But I do not want to ever come back to Atlanta. People here are hateful, rude, and inconsiderate. If you're passing through cool- but why anyone would want to live here when that's how people are- it's terribly sad. Huge pass. This is a jewel of the south and y'all really are this mean to strangers? So sorry this is the way y'all live. Hope Atlanta can heal itself and not be so hateful. Won't be back to find out.Safety: It's also not safe here. I went to a gas station to get tea and someone smashed my windshield with a hammer. For what? Sad. People here are a joke

The room was cozy and clean. Wish the desk and dresser were reversed though because the desk was directly next to the HVAC so cold air would blow directly on you. Air conditioner would only cool one half of the room. The TV was new and large but did not allow you to configure the ChromeCast so random cell phones kept projecting their screens onto the TV. Hotel staff tried but couldn't fix it and Technician wasn't available. Elevator came offline from a storm Saturday night and they didn't get anyone out to fix it until Monday afternoon. The breakfast buffet was really nice and there was ample free parking.

Parking outside is free. No extra fees so far.Rooms: Rooms were clean. They have refrigerator and a microwave in the room. AC was set to 64 and was blowing cold. Water in the shower had a really good pressure and was hot.Food & drinks: Breakfast is from 7am to 10am. ( Sausages, eggs, cereal, pancakes, muffins, yogurt, bagels. Orange juice, apple juice and milk). Everything was sugar free and low fat.
