Laughing Skull Lounge is a cool, fun comedy club hidden in the back of the Vortex. It offers a casual, cozy experience with a great atmosphere and a kind of packed crowd. The comics and host were very funny, featuring many up and coming comedians trying new material. Most comedians were funny, with more hits than misses. It is not a typical open mic; the hosts are professionals. The space is small with small tables. Be sure to arrive early to grab drinks. It is a real joint filled with a great, excited crowd wanting to laugh.
Open Mike Knight was awesome, plenty of performers, diversity of style, had me laughing pretty much the whole time. Highly recommend. Go on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, you will not be disappointed.

Best time I've ever had at a live show and comedy club.
