Laughing Skull Lounge is a cool, fun comedy club hidden in the back of the Vortex. It offers a casual, cozy experience with a great atmosphere and a kind of packed crowd. The comics and host were very funny, featuring many up and coming comedians trying new material. Most comedians were funny, with more hits than misses. It is not a typical open mic; the hosts are professionals. The space is small with small tables. Be sure to arrive early to grab drinks. It is a real joint filled with a great, excited crowd wanting to laugh.
Comedians were good, but not only do you have to pay for the ticket, but they also impose a 2 drink minimum and they are expensive.

Had a great time. Great atmosphere, great vibe and the drinks were on point!! We will definitely go again!!

Had an absolute blast. Went early and ate dinner at the Vortex and then attended the show. 8 different comedians performed, each with a different style. Don't go if you're overly sensitive, you will be offended at some point - otherwise definitely go!!
