My son Jaylen attended M. Agnes Jones Elementary from kindergarten through his 5th grade graduation on May 24, 2017. He leaves behind his little sister Mariah. It's such a bittersweet moment. I/we absolutely love MAJ and everything that they have done to make the school better with each new year. I'm going to miss my baby boy navigating the halls of MAJ. He was involved in almost every program that they offered. The teachers and the Principal loved him as we do them. Now off to middle school. I'm still trying to move on. :(

This school is for show,the principal is very evil and unprofessional.She sent the police to my house and told him to intimidate me!Only because I was trying to bring to her attention how uncivilized the kids in my daughters class were;(shes a straight A student !) After trying to get a conference with her for months.I left my business card with her ghetto unprofessional receptionists and I never got a call or a conference.Notice when it's awards day she never look at the children she hands the awards to.Never eat lunch with the student of the month kids. It's all a show.For 3 years I had to deal with her unprofessional acts of hate towards me.And what made me take them out was after she singled my little girls,BOTH out by putting them in the back of the line at breakfast the day after she sent the police to my house.I tried talking to the board of education and of course they threw my kids into a school that was much further away from our home.shame on aps

Went there this past Saturday for their annual Fall Festival. OMG!!!! IT WAS THE BEST I'VE EVER ATTENDED!!!! So many great vendors, great games, great demonstrations and great food!!! Well done Ms. Woolfolk, staff and PTA parents!! Your dedicated hard work was well manifested!!! Thanks for your investment to the students and families.--Taniya's Granny?
