I made a big purchase with April of My Swanky Pooch, vendor at a Vintage Market in Atlanta. Her merchandise for pooches are really, really cute and unique and very expensive. One of my purchases included a really cute collar for my dog with her name in bling letters. The sleeve that held the bling letters fell off of the collar after only a couple of days of wear. The letters alone were $15.00 total. The collar was nearly $30.00 after all was said and done. When I notified her, two days later, that the sleeve that held the letters and letters fell off the collar, she requested that I call her on Monday which made it a week later. I called her as requested on Monday, she asked me to text her my mailing address and email address. I complied, just to receive an invoice from her of $27.68. The cost to replace the sleeve and letters. I responded by email and called her to express that I don't feel like I should have to repay for a defective item. The dog only wore the collar, not handled it. I called her personally to discuss a resolution without having me feeling like I've been had for $30.00. She said nothing. No response, nothing she just held the line. That speaks volumes about the way a customer is handled when there's a dispute. She was very pleasant and accommodating when she was making the sale with me. She had nothing to say when I asked that she replace the letters and sleeve. I got the sound of crickets from her. Shop where you are respected and valued as a customer. My Swanky Pooch is not the place. My Swanky Pooch is not a swanky business.
