First time here for an oil change. I was here on a Friday after 4pm, roughly 8 customers including myself waiting for our vehicles - staff was courteous, kind, and stayed professional throughout all interactions with customers - and we were all out the door by closing time or shortly thereafter. I will definitely come back for other services on my vehicle. Thank you Shari and Tyrice

Initially I chose Mavis because of their convenient location, but was greatly surprised by their top-tier customer service and car treatment overall. On top of my tire replacement, I received $50 of free windshield wipers, discounted tire installation, and discounted wheel alignment, all within 2 hours. Definitely recommend this location for any car maintenance needs.

I had phenomenal help by Zae and TK. I had my tire burst and they got me in swiftly. It was last minute and being that I’m a woman, it’s not easy going to cat shops because men take advantage of you. But i felt safe and welcomed. They broke down prices to me and offered reasonable prices. Will definitely go back if I’m ever on that side of town again.

Store manager ZAY is extremely unprofessional and hostile..he has bad customer service towards customers..I was charged for things I didn't approve so I came in to go over the bill and he was disrespectful and a argument pursued..I will NEVER give Mavis my business again!!! I was a long time customer but not anymore..I will not be yelled at and talked to like that..this is my money I'm spending..this store manager has anger issues and he creates a hostile environment with customers

A simple wheel alignment. Took the car in on yesterday to get a wheel alignment. After 2 hours they were finished. Took the car a block and it went to the left immediately. It was so obvious. Steering wheel literally pointing to the right when going straight.
They did a second attemp... 1 hourr later... now it's veering to the right .
Come in today and waited 2 hours plus.
I gave up and got my money back. Now at tires south.
Never again mavis. Never

My usual tire provider could not source tire size in a timely manner - and other shops were having difficulty doing this as well.After a month, I found a set at Discount tire.
Unfortunately after seeing the "low" prices on the Mavis website, I cancelled my appointment with Discount tire to do business with Mavis Tire.
My appointment was set for 10:00 am today -02/13/2024.
I arrived at 10 am - it took the clerk 20 minutes to
check me in - she was obviously unfamiliar with the process.
My car sat in the lot for 3 hours before it was pulled in for servicing.
So around 2:20 pm - I was still waiting for my vehicle to be completed - no word from the staff - so I go out into the parking lot and see it sitting - it had been raining that day so they decided to park the car in huge puddle of water - which was on par for the previous level of customer service . So to reiterate - none of the staff bothered to inform me that my car was ready.
So it would be well received if corporate explained to the staff of your locations the purpose of setting appointments as well as the importance of NOT booking work in an amount that exceeds their capability to handle. Why even bother setting an appointment.
Also , on my original call to arrange the servicing - I was told that the total would be $632. I knew that was the price of 4 tires and there would probably be some other charges - but I was blown away at the end total being $830. But I guess they can offer "discount tires" because of the ridiculously high installation charge.

I was driving along Marietta Street, NW there is horrific intersection. That intersection I believe is what blew my tire 02/12/25.
I found Mavis Tire on my Tesla Model 3 performance tire. This was the third time I have popped a tire on the outback off road driving experience in the city.
That is my only complaint about Tesla Model 3 Perdormance. The awesome thing is there is so much more ro love about Tesla Model 3 Performance. It takes your breath away on acceleration.
This was my 1st time at Mavis Discount Tire on Howell Mill Rd. Though I had to wait, the corrext tire was rivited tightly to the wheel. Make certain they check all tire pressures before you drive off. Know that you may or may not have to circle back for adjustments after the tires cool.
Oh, the tire required for the vehicle costs more at Tesla Service Centers.
