I find this to be interesting because this business is labeled as BLACK OWNED, because they KNEW it would attract the black women that want to support their own. Then when someone walks in and tries to verify that it’s black owned, you become offended and want people to acknowledge your Asian heritage.Well, it’s quite simple…..remove the “black owned business” label from your business and if you don’t want to continue to get the question from customers unknowingly. Otherwise, deal with the fact that this is going to be an ongoing thing ?FYI….I support ALL ethnicities but I PREFER to support my own first because it’s time for us to start winning just like everyone else.

The owner was very kind but this is NOT a black-owned beauty supply store although it is listed as one on Google. Also, the space is cramped in a small space with so much stuff but the customer service was good.Edit: I changed my review from 4 stars to 1 star. I specifically went out of my way to try and support black business and the lady behind the counter was an Asian woman. She was nice to me and I asked her if she was the owner, and she said yes. So idk why this owner replied to my review and is claiming to be black, yet has no profile picture and has an Asian lady behind the counter of his supposed business claiming to be the owner. Either 1.) Google has the location of this beauty supply store mixed up with another one, or 2.) The Asian woman is pretending to be a black man for black supporters and customers.

The experience at the beauty supply store it was okay some of the price was a little higher than I used usually pay but that was okay didn't feel like ripping and running all over the world just to save a dollar and it didn't take too long so that was great some stuff they should go down on like to stasol fro 3.99 IAM use to paying 3.49 I saved gas and got it there sometimes they be open when the other one close nice

I truly wish I could give this below 1 star, I asked a simple question. "Is this store black owned". The Owner a medium height, African American man then asked me why. I informed him I just wanted to know (as I want to ensure my money is circulating throughout my community). He then proceeded to call my friend and I racist yelling at all who would listen. I assume it had something to do with the Co- Owner. I would never I truly mean EVER come to this store again I suggest you not either. Its so depressing because I was looking for a hair store as I am new to the area.

The store clerk was very professional and helpful. Immediately as I walked in she greeted me and asked if I needed assistance. She was also able to recommended me some products. When I checked out with my credit card, she asked to see my ID. I appreciated this greatly given I have had my card number stolen and used one too many times. The shop is a little out of the way from where I live, but I will make the drive because of the great service I received.

Best service and focus on customer needs periodt. I try not to go to other beauty supplies at all anymore. They will order items you need if they don’t carry them and they provide concierge service to help you get the items you need when you walk in so you don’t have to spend an inordinate amount of time searching.
