This location left my dog in a crate for 5 hours and “forgot” about her. She has anxiety and chewed on the fur of her arms. Not sure how THREE groomers can miss a dog? But they did. So irresponsible! The only solution they could provide is to come BACK to this location for three free grooms. I’m never returning and suggest avoiding this location at all costs.

I’ve been a customer for years. This passed Saturday 11/09/24. I took my dog for grooming. I came in early and was greeted by the Manager “Lena”. She also checked my dog in. Once I returned the groomer “David” was overly nice. In a strange way. But I didn’t pay it any mind. I also didn’t have my dog harness, so therefore, I picked him up physically and carried him to the car. Only to notice once I got home my dog was injured and bleeding. I immediately called to the store. I spoke with the manager, who advised me to take him to the vet hospital and Petco will take care of the bill along with offering me a refund. I originally took my dog in for flea treatment. Once we arrived to the vet hospital I was told that my dog had active fleas on top of injury. I then called to the office and spoke with a lady named Chelsie, who had no remorse and was very rude. Who stated that” well you have a refund so have a good day” I’ve also reported this issue to corporate office. I’ve been told each day that I will get a callback regarding this and yet no one has follow up. This is very unacceptable. If you take your animal to this location. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR ANIMAL WITH DAVID. I also hope you don’t have any interaction with the heartless Chelsie.

The groomers at this PetCo do magic work! I take my husky here for deshedding treatments and he always comes out exactly how I want!!! 10/10 would recommend if you’re looking for groomers that will take care of your pup!

I had an amazing experience at Petco! I was able to book a last-minute, same-day grooming appointment for my dog, and the team was so accommodating. The staff were incredibly nice and pleasant, and they took great care of my dog. She came out looking absolutely adorable—her cut was perfect! I felt so lucky to have found an appointment, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend their grooming services!

It is always nice to shop at Petco stores because its employees are always polite and helpful. However, like everything in this world nothing is perfect. It is really sad that even in 2024 you still see birds and other animals for sale as if this was completely normal and not a complete shame. Having to see these beautiful creatures not only behind bars like they did something wrong to deserve a life in captivity but also having to watch them in their sleep positions in a very bright room is impossible to forgive. When will this society be fair, respectful and truly loving with animals? When will this cycle end? Who is going to stop this?
Speaking for the ones that do not have a voice. 💔

I can't think the folks here enough. We flew into atlants to rescue 3 large dogs. The employees were the best at hooking us up with xl kennels and waited for us to pick them up. It could not have been made possible without their help. The pooches are now back in Texas fed, watered bathed, treated, and laying on the floor getting belly rubs.

10/10!! This is hands down the best grooming salon in Buckhead. They provide excellent customer service and my dogs always look good every time. I would ignore the negative reviews because I never had a bad experience here. I HIGHLY recommend this salon!!

I have been going here at least weekly for several years now. Walked all the way up to this location today and as I minor accompanied by another minor they refused to sell me fish because of it. I have never heard of this rule and other locations don’t impose it.

Decided to stop here to get my dog a haircut since I was too busy to do it myself. Never been to a Petco but was needing something convenient and in the neighborhood. Instead, they were only able to do a face trim which was fine. However, the pet stylist Shanteelah "Teelah" does not deserve a 1 star. I asked for a teddy bear facial cut and got a botched triangle instead and his hair above his eyes shaved to the skin. The stylist is not a certified technician, but she stated to me, "I'm allowed to do facial cuts (the most important part of a dogs groom) but not a full groom although I know how to a full groom. I have do go through the training and get certified." I proceeded by asking her, "Are you sure you know how to cut a teddy bear dog's face? " I explained my experience with groomers which is why I (former cosmetologist) cut my dogs hair myself. She said, "YES" I know how. Complete DENIAL!! My dog looked better before I brought him. The wash/blowout looked like they dried him without brushing. I guess the other stylist was a trained groomer had to blow my dog out to remove the curls but couldn't do anything with the now triangle mouth my dog has. can cut a teddy bear facial cut but didn't have the time. On top of this I was charged $36 after complaining about the cut. The excuse was that I'm passing for the shampoo. I didn't bring him for va shampoo. I brought him for the cut and clip his nails. The cutting of the face included the shampoo. The service should have been free with the untrained, uncertified stylist!! Please take this review serious. Take your dog to trained groomers that are trustworthy. I don't know about the other stylist, but Teelah is an amateur when it comes to dog grooming services. I will be also reaching out to their corporate office about this experience as well as the manager George who was rude and didn't take accountability for unprofessional experience. This service brought out the worse in me. He didn't apologies for the terrible service received but instead had an attitude and stated, " I already know what's going on I've been notified as well as the salon manager." Absolute poor customer service and wired vibe by the manager.
