Publix Pharmacy at Howell Mill Village is a clean store with a great selection of food and some of the freshest grocery store produce. Employees are nice to interact with and are all-around good workers, maintaining efficiency and patient attitudes even when the store is super busy. Many customers find most sale items in stock. However, the parking lot is rather small, which can make shopping at peak times tricky. Checkout lines are often closed, and the store lacks self-checkout. Some customers report long waits for assistance, noting the location can feel understaffed. There has also been an incident where a customer found a staff member at the desk to be abruptly rude regarding a service dog, with no apology offered. Despite these issues, many appreciate the staff's efforts and enjoy visiting for a pick-me-up or a nice start to the day.

Terrible customer service from the pharmacist on staff. It’s a shame that some pharmacists forget that their customers are patients in need of medication. Much better experience at every other Publix pharmacy I’ve been to. Will never return here if I can help it.
