A Publix on the smaller side, I saw some monsters in Tamp FL, but has what we need when we go there.

Quita in customer service is VERY rude. I was just trying to ask about some balloons and before I could finish my sentence, she cut me off and did "No, we don't have those". Got to do better or find a job where you don't have to interact with customers

flagrantly misplaced sale signs in the beverage section regarding sale prices, waste of time, zero remorse from management

Management at this location is awful!! They hide in the office watching cameras, and have hourly c.s. reps deal with anything a manager doesn't want to get up to do! If one compares this behavior to that of other nearby Publix's, where the managers are ALWAYS walking through the store, clearly visible, and even stopping to talk to customers or help baggers or the customer service desk, it's really noticeable how bad the Toco Hills location has become!
The hourly employees are usually very helpful & friendly, but the Toco Hills Publix can't seem to keep ANY of their best employees or supervisors. Either they leave to go to other stores, or just leave the company itself. Sad, really sad.
Also, if you are a lottery fan, make sure to buy your tickets 45 minutes before closing, OR just don't bother and give your lottery business to some other establishment! This Publix doesn't care about inconveniencing their customers in this way, because unlike other Publix locations, this store has a hard and fast rule about shutting down the lotto machine & pulling all lottery tickets from behind the counter a full 45 minutes before the store closes! The other aforementioned Publix stores seem to be able to count, inventory, and close out their lottery stations in a reasonable amount of time. Thus proving that a store shouldn't need to make it a store policy to do this extremely early closing thing, especially in such a safe neighborhood! Ridiculous!
It's a shame really, b/c for over 8 years this USED to be my #1 grocery store, NOT anymore! I drive miles out of my way to go to another Publix, or just go around the corner to the friendliest grocery store within the Toco Hills neighborhood- Kroger!! Better prices, plus gas points too!
The management has gotten better in the past few years...slowly, but surely.

Review of deli -- I often stop to pick up rotisserie chicken from 4 different Publix. The Toco Hills Publix often doesn't have any rotisserie chicken and when I have bought one it is consistently worse than the other locations. The chicken is dry and clearly been sitting for hours. Their rotisserie chickens are also conspicuously missing the date and time labels that the other Publix have on their rotisserie chickens.

I’m all for Publix closing down all sub stations ; because the wait time, the accuracy and inconsistency of workers is insane , no one shouldn’t have to wait over an hour for anything ; a lot of this fall on poor management and you would think Publix would do a better job in management selection but the deli workers is an example of the quality of management; I’m all for closing down all sub statins globally because it’s not working and it’s not fair to impede on people time and who wants to spend a bulk of their day in line even if it’s an online order

Stood in line to get a sub for 20 of my lunch time mins. Waited my turn, just to be passed up someone could go help the hot food. It's lunch time and you have 1 person working both counters. I have now wasted my whole lunch time. Thank you for nothing.

A cleaner version of Kroger with less but good selection. Better produce than Kroger.
