I have been banking at Regions Bank in Sandy Springs since 2003 and until recently I was satisfied with the service I received. However, I went into the bank today to open an account for my business and the person who helped me was very unprofessional and culturally inappropriate.Number 1: She kept calling me out of my name, even after I asked her not to do so. She called me "Love" and "Dear". These are not names I expect to be called in a professional setting during a business transaction. Even after I explained to her that I did not like being called those name because African Women are often called out of their names, she continue to call me Love and Dear, and said it was just a habit. I was deeply offended by this such a lack of professionalism.Number 2: She entered the name of my business incorrectly on the forms she filled out for the new business account. When I brought that to her attention, she said it did not matter. She corrected the error only after I insisted and refused to sign documents with the wrong name of my business. She corrected the error, but when I got home I found out that the account number on the forms she had me sign in the bank was different from the account on the Online Business account. I am not a banker, but I am pretty sure they should be the same account number.So, I have to go back up to the bank tomorrow to straighten all of this out. I have never had such bad service in all the time I've banked at Regions and I've never written a complaint before today. But the incompetence I experienced today is just uncalled for and the branch manager needs to make sure the bank's clients are not treated this way in the future.

This location needs the proper training when it comes to customer service. They also need to stop racially profiling their customers. Extremely disappointed in the service received today.

I wanted to like Regions especially after leaving Wellsfargo after 18 years. First, they lied to me about the interest rate on my MMA. Quoted me one amount, then the next day emailed me that it was much lower and that the rates change daily. That would be fine if they quoted me that amount and the account was funded on another day, but it wasn’t. I went into the branch and was quoted the higher rate by the representative (Cassie) as well as her supervisor. Did a wire transfer which funded the account that same day that I was quoted the better rate. Escalated the complaint which did no good. The person in Complaints in Tennessee did nothing but listen and agree with me and said she would have the manager at the local branch contact me. The rate was never adjusted, never heard back from the manager after emailing the person in Tennessee again, so I moved the bulk of my money to a different bank. My checking account and small savings accounts are still there. On more than one occasion, I will receive a refund for something and it will show up in my transactions but it doesn’t reflect in my available balance. Since these accounts that are left at Regions are much smaller, it’s very easy to do the math. I do believe they steal money because they’re not applying my refunds. My balance never goes up when I receive a refund but shows up in the transactions as received. They are scammers and I’m already looking for another bank. I’ve only been with them since Nov 2022. The worst!

I have received such poor customer service at Regions at Sandy Springs, I regularly ask myself why I still bank there. I recently went to do a withdrawal and get something notarized. This was my first time at the new location. They made several errors, but I think the worst is how the teller chatted so kindly and seemed interested in the person she served after me, but was dry and stiff with me. Didn't ask me about my day or anything. The other issue is how I called in advance to ask the notary's hours. And I was told she would be there all day. When I get there, she is out to lunch. When I called, they could have told me her lunch time. Then, during my withdrawal, the rude, stiff teller gave me $10 more than I requested. And did a second transaction for this extra $10.

At a loss trying to figure out why the teller is never at the window. It is 2:15 on a Tuesday, I’ve rang the call button twice now. After waiting behind the car in front of me for about 10 minutes. Stop being so lazy!!!!!!!!!!

I got bad vibes/energy in this place. I will drive further to avoid this in the future. My whole good mood was stripped right away from me. . . The fact theres multiple reviews about the attitude here... either you all hire rude people or this place is an extremely toxic environment to work in.

I had waited for the location to open at 9am today and the door was still locked. Signage on the door stated that no more than 4 people was allowed in the lobby at a time and the hours that location opened was 9am. No one ever came to unlock the door nor were there any employees in the lobby or at the counter. This is unacceptable business practice.
