About The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army is a shelter that provides a decent and clean living environment for those in need. The beds are comfortable, but some employees can be rude, and a few were previously on drugs. The facility has a few issues, such as moldy shower rooms and the food team not providing enough portions. However, the food quality is decent, and the shelter has received significant government funding. Despite some complaints, many residents express gratitude for the shelter's services, which offer a fresh start in a challenging city. The staff, particularly the ladies, are described as helpful and appreciated by those who have stayed there.

This was my first experience paying for a bed, I paid 2 weeks and I didn’t come back one night because I was out helping someone whom needed help, I came the next day and they discharged me and kept my remaining balance of only days of being there but really one actually. I’m confused if that’s even legal. But ok.

They should stop putting people out so early in the morning

I was fortunate enough to be to be able to stay there. It was a clean, shelter and the food that was served was delicious. I didn't have any complaints other than the vaccination shot and that was my fault due to my job. But, it's a great shelter though.
