February 2025 by Josie Williams
When I first came in there were two associates standing at the door who looked right at me when I entered and did not greet me, but they continued to greet everyone who came in after me and made themselves available to help most other shoppers who were in the store. I really didn’t appreciate not being acknowledged initially, but Jenny made me feel a lot better when she asked if I needed help and helped me with my color matching and skin concerns. She took the time to answer all the questions I had and helped me find several products that will be helpful for my skin concerns. I really appreciate her and all her help and will definitely be back so I can try all her recs. But as for the two who were at the door when I walked in, not acknowledging me when I enter but acknowledging everyone else does put a bad taste in my mouth.

DO NOT SHOP AT SEPHORA, THEY STEAL FROM YOU

Laughable how rudely I was treated after I didn’t want to join the rewards program. Store was neat and I found what I needed but yikes their staff…

Items were priced at $22 and $14, but I was charged $23 and $15 + tax at checkout. I'm aware of tax, but did the whole sephora increase by $1 in the new year?

Don’t go when they aren’t busy, you will get hounded with associates asking you if you need something and staring you down. It was way too intense for some mid morning shopping. I practically ran out of there. Dear Sephora, sometimes people would like to shop in peace and not feel like sales people are jumping on top of them for a sale.

They are out of most products you want. They need better replenishment processes. Ulta right next door was fully stocked, go there.

I’ve never been treated the way I was treated before at this Sephora. The bald man who is a greeter is extremely rude and unprofessional. I don’t know if he was having a bad day, but his responses to questions are rude. He clearly is either frustrated with him job or should not work in customer service. Will not be returning to this location. I would hope that employees of Sephora would conduct themselves in a more refined and professional manner.

Why does Sephora have “testers/samples” for in store use such as cleansers and body/facial products to try out before you buy but zero access and no where there is water to wash hands or take product off face or body. Such a turn off and makes me leave and not buy anything or return. Makes zero sense been like this for a while now and I’ve complained several times. Then someone keeps complaining when you try to use the vanity area to apply a product/products and follows you around the store and keeps harassing you when you already told 5 people you don’t need help. Get out my face dummy. Do better and stay woke folks 🤦♀️🤦♂️🤷🏿♀️😤🫨😬

They lack customer service! They’d rather stand around and chat vs helping customers. Every single employee that was in the store on 9/4 around 7pm needs to be a retrained. If I was a secret shopper they would have failed miserably. Do better!

Extremely rude staff and will not be back!
Came to pick up an online pick-up and was immediately greeted by a chilly reception from the staff. This was the general tone they kept towards me during the few minutes for my order. The associate that handed me my items didn't exchange any pleasantries or offer so much as a "Thanks for shopping with us, have a good day!" Even after I said "Thank you." On the way out, I passed about 3-4 associates (with a Sephora bag in my hand, so obviously I was a customer). No one said anything to me, including the initial rude associate I passed coming in, who looked right at me, but then proceeded to tell the customer coming behind me to "Have a good day!"
You would think I did something personal to offend these people! But no, I was simply a customer that came in to pick up an order. I came in with my own southern manners ("Hello, how y'all doing? I'm here to pick up an order.") and did not deserve such cold treatment, especially when I saw them being warm with other customers at the time. And personally, what was most disappointing of all is that the majority of the staff were Black women. As a Black male, these type of negative interactions hurts a bit more when someone of your own color are the ones repsonsible.
I haven't been to a Sephora in quite some time (usually buy my skincare from Amazon these days) but I was previously a VIB Rouge member and frequented the store in Tampa, Florida near my hometown. The staff there was always extremely kind and a few of them knew me by name. Even at other Sephora stores, they are usually nice, pleasant, and accommodating. To go from that, to this, was a jarring experience and honestly, might single handedly turn me off from going to another Sephora store for the forseeable future. A positive interaction may very well have had the opposite effect (starting to go back to Sephora after a long hiatus).
I've been to many Sephora stores but this was easily the most uncomfortable I've ever felt in one. From a simple customer service perspective, it was a huge letdown for me. Pleass do better at this location and be nice to ALL your customers!

Lancôme stock expired! Bought lancôme foundation back in December 2023. I have been using a tinted moisturizer but decided I wanted to start using it again last week and after my skin broke out, I checked the expiration date and it said February 2024. I contacted customer support who told me to go directly to the store. Tried to exchange but ALL OF THEM were expired. They were going to refund me but since it's been past 60 days they said they couldn't. I feel like the shelf life policy should outweigh the return policy. Also the fact that they just left all of the expired foundations on the shelf is alarming.

I actually really like this location. They have a nice variety of products. I love that they carry my favorite products and always seem to be fully stocked. My reason for the three star review is the way that I was treated by the beauty associate Christian. Her attitude was very disgusting and rude. I’m not really sure why and I don’t think it had anything to do with me however it ruined my experience at this location.

Every time I shop here I am in and out without a greeting, or offer for help. Never a “thank you” or “have a nice day” at checkout either. A very minimal approach to customer service. Lol.

Accidentally refunded a gift to the credit card used instead of a giving me store credit. A MANAGER then tried to place the blame on by saying I clicked confirm on the screen (as instructed by the employee, while we were both thinking it was going on a merch card). It’s not my job as a customer to know how to operate their equipment. Horrible customer service and store. No option to make it right or apology either.
