I'm a current resident of Skyhouse South. I have asthma, and our neighbor smokes weed DAILY causing me breathing difficulty; I can no longer work from home and have had to start taking steroid medication to sleep at night. We send emails most every week to management in hope they will resolve the issue and they have stated they have served a lease violation, however after 2 months there has been no change in behavior from our neighbor. I don't expect perfect living conditions living in a city, but a candid conversation asking the resident to open the window or smoke outside would go a long way until a long-term solution is implemented.
The rent is at a competitive price point and the renovated units are quite nice, but unfortunately the inability to create a safe and comfortable living environment for my health creates a loss of confidence in skyhouse south.

Troy arrived with a smile. He was very pleasant, he addressed, assessed, and fixed the problem with an electrical socket that wasn’t working. He replaced our filter as asked. He is proficient, efficient, and a nice young man. Glad he’s joined the staff.

Very loud, other upscale apartments around have a pool policy and considerable to other neighbors but this place plays music so loud on weekdays past midnight. Security needs to do a better job.

We had a $300 security deposit that should have been returned to us since there were no damages noted on our move out, and they had told us to wait on paying the $300 cleaning fee while they were getting information on the security deposit from the building’s previous management company. Instead they didn’t get back to us and called collections on us while we were actively trying to contact them about it (at least four emails reminding them over the span of a couple of two months). This is completely crooked, and will keep this review until it’s resolved.

I am 2-3 weeks in my new apartment and I have to say everything is great! The apartment was squeaky clean wen I moved in. Isaiah was AMAZING, extremely helpful during my first tour and during my move-in process! Concierge team is also amazing and always kind and helpful. Maintenance team is on point, helpful, quick, and willing to go above and beyond, doing tasks that they didn't have to do, just to make my life easier! I thank everyone that works here!
