/25 i ended staying until December the roach issue never got better. My last straw was a roach setting off my motion detector camera that sits on my freaking fridge while i was away. Roaches in and on the fridge is an absolute NO! Its crazy to think i BEGGED the property to please give me a new unit i even was willing to pay whatever fee that was required to reapply for a new unit that is how much i liked living here but yet that was too difficult for them theyd rather an abandoned unit. This community does not care for the residents clearly. Posting pic of my roach roommate on my fridge
Edit: pest control came yesterday 11/15 12pm to spray.
Its 11/16 and i just woke up to a roach crawling on me. Im out of here!
Is anyone else here having roach problems? I signed my lease in April but moved in in May and have been having roach problems since JUNE! The complex has sent pest control out 3 times so far and still roaches. I have complained and asked to be transferred to another unit i was told to give them 30 days and to pack my belongings up into boxes. Okay fine. My belongings were packed 2 weeks and noone came so i purchased my own pest control to come out and spray. I still have roaches! I decided to literally cover my apartment in roach butter and boric acid. Like literally my entire floor is covered in white powder right now. I left for 4 days and i am not kidding it is 2am 11/11/24 right now and i just walked into my apartment to roaches running around in the powder. Like what type of crackhead super demon roaches live here??? I have tried to stick it out but i can no longer do it. It is impossible to have company here without a roach running on the couch. This will be my last month with skyline.

This place is an entire mess from management to the residents. I saw they finally got past 2 stars but that’s because people are leaving reviews for Skyline Park (the Ponce City Market rooftop). LOL
I was so ready to leave this place I almost didn’t leave a review. A few things to consider:
- Every floor smells like dog pee and piss
- The doors leading to Piedmont Ave have been broken for so long and homeless people enter into the building to use the stairwell as a bathroom
- Management sucks. They are unresponsive and I currently have a fraud case open with their management corporate office (beware of this if you apply and give these people your social and other sensitive information)
And lastly - Kevin and Christina at the front desk are extremely rude, unprofessional, and ignorant. I would not recommend this place or any other properties managed by RPM Living.
UPDATE 1/7/2025:
Adding here that they are claiming that I was "not a resident" when I literally had to file a police report about them last week because they refuse to remove my resident information from their database even though I completed all of my paperwork to move out a year ago. PLEASE LIVE ANYWHERE ELSE.

I am so sick with the lack of care at this place. Since the gym moved downstairs I have not been able to get in with my key. Leasing office keeps saying the door needs to be fixed but nothing is fixed. went back to the office after Thursday which was the day when it was supposed to be fixed and of course nothing. I wanted to go in today but of course nothing works, no security guard to ask to let in which is what I was told to do. oh and of course the door on Ralph McGill has been broken for months now but who cares am I right

I have lived on this property for a little more than 2 years. Management has changed approximately three times since I've lived here. But kudos to the current management team who has worked to resolve some of the past problems as well as do some upgrades to the property. They have repaired the inside doors replace carpets and lights improving the overall appearance of the interiors. Maintenance has also improved with their response time to maintenance request. I still have two areas of concern which are paid parking for guests which I find a bit ludicrous and off-putting. Additionally the pedestrian interest on the Ralph McGill side of the building in which the door keeps getting broken. Previously there was a glass door there now they have it boarded up. If you want to exit or enter the building as someone who lives here who doesn't drive you have to walk halfway around the block to find a way in. To a non-driver this is very very inconvenient. Please please management put a solid rigid door on the Ralph McGill side of the building once and for all! This is not hard! And please do not take forever to do this, the last time the store was broken for about 4 through 5 months. This property has an opportunity to to be better!

They are making improvements on the interior of hallways ,gates staying closed , and having security around during the day but the roaches !!!! Not matter how many times I spray(and I’m using professional spray) and put out the little houses (which are embarrassing ) they are always sights to where I don’t even want to cook to bring any attention smh.coming from places where there are none and 1700 -1800 for two bedroom to now close to $2000 for a one bedroom this is unacceptable. Also thing that sells this place is THE SKYLINE (hints the name) . We only have access to the rooftop while the rent office is open Mon-sat so it closes at 6 which means there is no time for people get off later to unwind, relax and enjoy the night views . Also “game room/ lounge stays locked” mind you they give us key fobs to access do I don’t understand why we can only access during the day . We are paying communities fees and enough in rent to were I feel there should be security presence for us to use at night..say your time and money

As a resident, I encourage people to save yourself and rent anywhere other than here. Cockroaches all throughout, broken doors on half of the floors (we had to pay for key fobs that aren’t needed to enter the building and it has been this way for nearly our entire lease), broken parking deck gate (you pay skyline monthly & a car booting company to park in a gated parking deck), promised repairs are just new lights & a paint job to make this dumpster look better, broken elevator for months, cigarettes along with other trash thrown around in the courtyards, trash left around the halls (not including the valet trash we are required to pay despite having an easily accessible dumpster), extremely dirty pool, broken workout equipment, homeless sleeping on the bottom floor, unknown feces in the stairwells or occasionally on the carpet at door entrances, and rent that is $600-$800 more than it should ever be. Safety and wellbeing is no concern of the property owner and it is very evident in lack of care, but noticeable concern on appearance. They repaint the walls and change lights, but fail to repair doors / gates, elevators, torn off the wall cameras, infestations, and more. This place is a rat home painted pretty to overprice to the possible resident and eventual victim. It’s unfortunate because the location is good, but the extremely poor management of this property makes it unlivable and to top it all off it is given an astronomical price in comparison to its actual value. Save yourself, your roommates, your family or pet - live somewhere else.
(Had this review saved for later to post thinking they may fix some things, but I was sadly mistaken. Yesterday, within the parking deck where the gate is always broken my roommates car was broken into and stolen from. On top of that, I woke up today to find feces outside my apartment in the hallway. This place is trash and suspiciously given a large amount of 5-star reviews in contrast with the low ratings.)
Update: Got to see a homeless man sleeping in the stairwell yesterday morning with the added bonus of trash spread across the stairwell last night now marinating over the weekend. This place is ALWAYS UNLOCKED - dispute paying for your key fob and negotiate cost of rent if you ignore the reviews and live here anyway. The treatment of this place appears worse than an outdoor public restroom.

So I’ve been living here for over 7 years and to be honest things were great when I moved in, but progressively started going down hill with the quality of the tenants and then once Airbnb was permitted everything went straight to hell! Awful situations with trash, destructive parties, a terrible management company that would not listen to our complaints, etc! The building has changed management probably 4 times since I’ve been here, Airbnb has been banned and finally now in 2024 we get a new management company that has committed themselves to fixing up the building. I’ve been praying for new carpet in the hallways for years and today it’s finally done! I’m literally doing a happy dance!!!! The entrance doors to the parking deck have been fixed!! When you call the office someone actually answers or calls you back! Mind blown!! The manager Christiane has been a pleasure to talk to! Super diligent and sweet! Things are not perfect but certainly improving and with the added security they have implemented and the repairs they have planned, I’m hoping this will once be better than it was. I’m very grateful to currently have a management team that actually cares and wants to make a difference! :) Thank you!

This place is a nightmare, so much so that my roommate and I are breaking our lease early and (THANKFULLY) moving out this week. Residents have no respect for one another and are screaming on their porches at 3am, blaring music, or having a block party with drunk people everywhere (including sleeping in the hallways). The gate to the garage has been broken for months, and I have an email from management saying they would have it fixed by April 19th - which was almost 2 months ago. The door to the first floor is open for anyone to get in which raises safety concerns (hence why we were able to get out of the lease early). The roach infestation is insane. We resorted to buying our own poison traps, glue traps, and got the apartment treated and still have problems. When I was emailing management, their response was that “they cannot control the cleanliness of other residents.” Instead of providing help and treating the (I’m sure incredibly infested) storage closet next to us, they blamed other residents. I have never felt so unsafe or unclean in a place ever. To top it off, there is no security or phone number to call a courtesy officer anymore. As graduate students, my roommate and I spend a lot of time in our apartment to get work done, but we do not feel safe being here. I called the leasing office to figure out a solution to these problems when the block party was keeping me from studying (partly because there was a drunk man sleeping outside our door) and although they did not answer, I got a wonderful voicemail thanking me for my interest in skyline and asking to set up a tour…. - you cannot make this stuff up anymore.

I give it 1 star only because the office staff has been polite but NO locked or gated security at all. Today, someone apparently watched me on the 3rd level deck, load my truck and between the time of walking back to my apt and getting the rest of my things and coming back out, they stole everything out of my truck. This means they were watching me. Parking deck gate has been broken and open for months, doors to the interior hallways from the decks are completely open. Anyone, and I mean anyone can get into the deck and/or building whenever they want to. They can then enter a stairwell and just stay. I see things left behind all the time. The entry doors on the street side and deck are broken and open 24/7. I want out of my lease but the lease has an early out penalty which I can't afford. Thankfully, I only have a few more months. This is bad and there's been plenty of time for things to be fixed and better. If they try to fix anything for the better, it ends up broken again overnight. It's absolutely crazy to be paying this much and living under these circumstances. I'd never recommend it. *update this morning - I walk out to feces right at my doorway. This is not right at all with paying $1900 +...always varies, per month. Roaches, garbage in halls, never stays clean if cleaned. I'll find out today if the cameras work when I ask for the theft to be looked into. Highly doubt it....oh, but there's new paint on the hallway walls with refreshing colors. Don't be fooled.

New leasing company bought out the old one and has owned it for four months and said they put $2.5 million into renovating, and has already started renovating the fourth floor, (before they fix the first floor door by the parking garage that is broken and doesn’t need a key fob for anyone to enter, easily breaking into any first floor apartments) Us people on the 1st floor are forced to have to go through a stairwell constantly filled with human feces and urine to get to our vehicles (because the elevator has been broken for 6 months) Then, there’s the open parking garage gate, when we are supposed to be paying for parking so we have a safely closed gate, has been wide open for 4 months too. This gate issue likely contributed to whatever shootout happened in parking garage or on the roof, because just about anyone can drive in and commit crimes (shootings, break-ins, etc) not to bring up the huge block party somebody threw and guests filled the private parking garage with their cars, proceeding to speed up and down it drunk and on who knows what else, risking resident’s cars being hit, and having to pay out of pocket to get it fixed. (Mind my car was $60,000, and this greedy company has a 0% chance of actually making something right if my car got hit) your insurance still goes up if you report any damage to your vehicle. If you have been in charge for 3 to 4 months and you have already started renovating with your $2.5 million dollars and you are prioritizing the “renovations” over the safety and the comfortability of all of the residents that currently live here, you clearly just care about making it look fancier so you can raise the rent quicker and get more people in and make more money. All the while, you neglect the serious security concerns of your current residents and will likely not compensate for any damages caused by these security concerns. Door companies, elevator, companies, and gate companies are niche and very lucrative reliable businesses, who, in fact can be called at any time to come out and fix simple problems. Not just come out once, to check to see what the problem is, and then the rental company waiting another several months to actually bring them back to fix it. Residents have been told that the “gate part” that they need has been in the mail for 4 weeks to a month or more. I have never seen a package take this long to deliver, unless ordered off of Temu or DH gate, and in that case, maybe be returned or thrown out all together, if it actually shows up. It would be nice to not live in fear of my $60,000 car and the $100,000 worth of stuff in my apartment becoming compromised due to this new companies negligence. It does not take any single large chunk out of a whole $2.5 million to fix these simple security issues. Hiring a security guard a couple nights a week is not a solution to this. It is really unfortunate because we do enjoy living here and the location, but this company does not seem to care. I hope that any new resident who reads this knows that it might look nice to you when they show it to you, but this is what they’re doing currently to the people who have lived here loyally for so many years. If they do this to us, they will do it to you. This review will not be removed until all of these issues are fixed swiftly and promptly. And I will be speaking to several other residents to add their concerns on Google as well. I am happy to call more than one local news agency, and a lawyer, who might find a pretty penny in this situation. It is not a great feeling to go to bed at night feeling unsafe and constantly having to check your phone when you get a Ring notification. I do not wish to speak to any property managers because I do not want to hear any more empty-promises and excuses to get us out of the office with a feeling of temporary relief. The property manager is not doing the budgeting, so they are not responsible for what is going on.

There are many things wrong with the apartment. I don't care who is guilty, but the insects that cover the apartment, the crazy homeless people I encounter every night, and the broken doors make me sad. And it's a shame to see this service for the price we paid. It's 2 a.m. right now and I'm trying to sleep while listening to a song sung by a homeless guy who's high on meth or whatever
