There is so much stuff here its walkable to: Sweetgreen, the Star Metals Dog Park, Lucky Star and the new Ladybird... just to name some of the closest activities. The best thing about this area is that you can have a whole evening at one location.

I visited Face Foundarie for my monthly facial and they validate the parking. When leaving and scanning it prompted me to pay $2. I swiped my cards and the arms did not raise. I pressed the help button that was not functional so I called the number for security. He spoke to me as if I was incompetent as I was explaining what happened. It updated from $2 to $8 in a matter of a min. He tried to tell me that doesn’t happen and I explained well it just did. When I swiped again of course it worked for the $8 payment.

I completed a virtual tour of the property back in August but decided to go not to proceed with an application. For weeks, I was contacted relentlessly by their third-party Leasing Agents. Sometimes twice per day. On 8/22, I was contacted by one of their third-party Leasing agents who inquired if I was still interested. I advised her that I was still interested, but had already scheduled movers for 9/1/21. I explained that I'd already had to reschedule my move once and if 8 days would be long enough for their approval process. I was told that it would be more than enough time processing my application. Well to make a long story short, after having tons of issues completing my application online, I was able to get it submitted the following day 8.23. Upon reaching out to the leasing office multiple times on multiple days for an update, I was finally able to speak with the leasing manager Kali two days later who explained she needed my pay stubs and bank statements. I immediately provided them as request. Kali advised she would process my application and follow-up. I never heard back from Kali so two days so another 2 days later (8/27) I reached back out to her. She explained that she'd been busy preparing for their system to "Go Dark". She then said she needed to complete rental history verification. She confirmed my move in date was 9/30 and said that she must complete rental history verification within the next two hours in order for my application to be fully processed before the system "Goes Dark" for a least a week. I moved mountains to get my current property manager to stop what they were doing and complete Star Metals rental history verification form. I subsequently had a follow-up question for Kali and I called her back. She confirmed that everything had been received on time, that she was processing the application and that she would call me back once she was done. I never heard back from Kali. This was the 4th time I was promised a call back and never received it. Around 7pm this same night, I received an email from Kali advising that "As Discussed" more information was needed to complete my application and my moving date had been changed to 10/11. This was never what was discussed and was a lie. The following day after at least 10 calls to the leasing office, I was about to speak with Les Brown, "property director". He basically told me there is nothing he would do or could do because their systems are down for at least the next 12 days. He then explained that my application required additional time processing because my credit is Tier 2 vs Tier 1 which is not true. When I disputed the statement and asked which credit bureau, he pulled from he advised didn't know as the information comes from a Third Party. I explained that I have credit monitoring with all three bureaus and my scores on all three are close to 700 which is far from Tier 2 credit. Furthermore, when I explained prior to applying that time is of the essence, no one certainly advised that depending on my credit rating, it may take more time to process my application. As a result of the Leasing Manager's misinformation, lack of accountability, and lack of communication, I was forced to cancel my 9/1/21 move. As of a result of Star Metals incompetence, I've been left homeless and I've lost my $300 deposit for my movers. To add insult to injury, Les refused to even refund me the $100 application fee. When I was contacted by Start Metals on Wed 9/22, I was ASSURED that there was more than enough time for the completion of the application process. Nobody ever mentioned anything about their system "Going Dark" for 10 days the following week. Nobody mentioned that an application can take additional processing time due to you having a Tier 1 or Tier 2 credit rating. Shame on Start Metals. I have filed a complaint with their corporate office, and I will be pursing EVERY possible remedy as a consumer.

I have only been living here for 3 days and I'm already seriously contemplating breaking my lease. The apartment itself and the property is beautiful. However the management company and the way that they do things is absolutely terrible while a lot of their logic just flat out doesn't make any sense. And I am not exaggerating. This is going to be a really long review so I am just giving you a heads up now. I am a Virgo, I will leave no details out.For starters the day that I was supposed to move in, I estimated that I would get there around 11 AM. Now If you have ever moved, we all know that things happen and more than often, a move never goes as scheduled. This community apparently requires move in timeslots. So when I told them I would get there around 11 AM with my movers, the leasing agent (who no longer even works for the company) decided to schedule my Move in window from 9 AM to 12 PM. I am moving into one the largest two bedroom two bath unit that they offer. I am paying over $3500 a month for rent. As a leasing agent you should know that moving into a unit of that size would take longer than an hour. Or you would think.I hired professional movers and unfortunately, getting to star metals took longer than anticipated. I did not get to Star Metals until around 1230pm. I'm late, I get it. Wasn't even looking at the time.No one informed me that your move-in window is not flexible. When I arrived at the property, I called the leasing office at least seven times before someone finally answered the phone. They rave about this 24/7 concierge that we get, however the concierge doesn't even have a direct number. You still have to call the main line that everyone else calls to get to them. This is not an upscale experience.I get to the property and they tell me because it's after 12 they're not going to allow me to move in. That I missed the window and that there's nothing they can do. That someone is currently moving in (12-3pm time slot) and it's against policy to let us share the freight elevator or the dock space and that the next time slot (3-6pm) is also already taken as well and that I have to reschedule my move in. Yes you heard correctly. They told me I had to reschedule my move in for another day. I asked for a 6-9pm time slot and was told you have to move in by 6pm. Are you kidding me???? I literally had a whole truck and movers that I pay per hour and Star Metals was not even going to let me move in! I live here. I literally cried in my car for 30 mins because this whole situation triggered my anxiety and I almost had a mental breakdown. So then The leasing office sends the concierge out to talk to me, (they didn't even have enough decency to talk to me themselves). She tells me that there's nothing that they can do and that if the person who currently is moving in is finished with the dock earlier than expected then I can move in.The universe grants me favor and the person before me finishes at 2 PM. So now the concierge tells me that I can move him from 2 to 3 PM but once the other people show up at 3 PM, I have to stop moving in. I say OK cool whatever. I asked for the elevator key and she tells me that because I'm not moving in during my scheduled time that they cannot provide me with the elevator key. Again are you kidding me? You're telling me I have to move-in in one hour and you won't even give me the elevator key which is going to slow us down. So then star metals sends a maintenance manager to manually hold the elevator and police my movers while also harassing them about being done at 3pm.So now I am really upset. I decide to call corporate because this is absolutely ridiculous and I can't even believe that this is happening. I call around and finally reach someone who tells me that they will have the regional manager contact me. She finally calls me back around 2:30 PM and she basically tells me that I missed the window and that what the leasing office told me was correct. So I politely point out the fact that even if I showed
