this experience made me extremely annoyed. started off very well, and the room was spacious and pretty clean, comfortable sleep. but if you need help with anything don’t expect the staff to get anything done. i left my pillow in my room and i called that night, but i was left on hold for a really long time and was forwarded to the housekeeping department but nobody picked up. called again the next morning, twice i was left on hold but then they hung up. i went in person to try to get them to do something, but the front desk couldn’t do anything except forward my contact information; she said there wasn’t even a way she could call housekeeping?? weird that they the front desk doesn’t have a way to talk to housekeeping. anyways, very frustrating and doubt i’ll be able to get my pillow back before i leave atlanta.

I have been sitting in the lobby for over an hour and a half after checkin time and they don’t have a room ready for me. They are telling me they do not have an ETA for a room. They are telling me they can’t prioritize or help me in any way. I just have to wait. I’m really confused because I could clean the room myself in 10 minutes.

The rooms weren't ready until 830 pm when check in was at 3. They overcharged for valet parking so you were forced to pay for that. They were short staffed with housekeeping and management. It was a nightmare but the manager Daniel tried to make everything better. He gave complimentary parking for my stay and bought some candy and a flower. The pool was closed as well, it was false advertisement. I won't be visiting this hotel again! Expensive for no reason

Overall the hotel was decent. It is a shared hotel space with the Crowne Plaza- it does have a separate entrance/lobby which is on the basement level. The rooms and hotel overall need some updates. The bed was comfortable. Shower got nice and hot. Full kitchen amenities. Complimentary breakfast daily. There is a cafe at the Crowne Plaza side that serves Starbucks and a breakfast restaurant, called First. The only negative thing about our stay happened at this restaurant on our last day. We went for a fancier breakfast, knowing we had to pay as the menu is out front with pricing. Upon walking in a server (Ghada) asked for our room number. When I told her she said “your with Staybridge and the free breakfast is downstairs”. I said “I’m aware” and proceeded to sit down with my daughter. The server said again “this isn’t the free breakfast. You have to pay for this.” To which I again said “I’m aware.” She said one more time something about having to pay. I again said “I’m aware”. She then proceeds to take our order. I call her over and express to her how bothered I am that I had to say to her 3xs that I’m aware that this restaurant isn’t free and that we have in fact eaten the complimentary breakfast every day of our trip so far. She gave some half apology and stated that some people aren’t aware and it causes issues when they get a check. I told her that while I understand that, I said I was aware the first time and saw the menu out front. It went on too long. I encouraged her to change her approach to asking people about this and to listen when they acknowledge that they are aware of the fees (as she claimed she didn’t hear me- even though I said it 3xs). The entire situation just rubbed me the wrong way. Not to mention that someone came in after us and nobody continually asked her if she was aware there would be a charge for the meal.I will also note that the complimentary breakfast was also often out of ice for the drinks and other things periodically. Staff was okay most of the time- however some were less than helpful. The hotel is close to all the attractions so that was a plus, we didn’t walk because I was with my young daughter- however I don’t think the walk would be bad. We relied on Lyfts and Ubers to get us over to the Olympic park area and then used the streetcar and/or walked every where else.It was bit noisy at night. It is close to downtown and the hospital and freeways so there’s that. There is a pool on the top floor but it was closed during our stay - it opens after the local spring break (warmer weather).Rooms: Spacious. Needs updates- chipped paint and the bed frame looked like it needed work. No smart technology. Glad I grabbed a base for my charger last minute as there were no usb plugs or anything. Has a kitchen- so could save money by cooking. Bed was super comfortable.Safety: Felt pretty safe. Even walked back from dinner one night. There are a lot of walkers out and about due to travelers and not being far from the college.Your room key is needed to operate the elevator and only goes to your floor.Walkability: About .6 miles from the Children’s Museum, World of Coke, Georgia Aquarium, and the Civil and Human Rights Museum. Several restaurants within walking distance.Food & drinks: There are a good amount of restaurants within walking distance and some that are a short drive away. We tried Nova Sushi and Landmark Diner. The Varisty looked pretty tasty too.

The room was dirty, microwave broken, bath tub and broken, looks like the room door was kicked in. I was scared to walk in the carpet without my shoes. I only stayed one night and the cost to pay and park while paying for your room is ridiculous. I will never stay here again. It's over priced. Missing elevator buttons. My skin was crawling.Rooms: Disgusting, dirty not happy.

I don’t know what to do the rest of this stay. They didn’t have our room available at check in (7pm, so several hours after check in began) so we had to pick between waiting in the lobby with A LOT of other guests in the same position, or downgrading to a smaller room. The street noise — revving engines — is incredibly loud and constant. I’m hoping we can change rooms to the other side of the hotel tomorrow and it will be better. I regret this choice. Hoping for a better situation tomorrow and for the rest of our stay.

This is a downtown hotel. The room was clean, but old; the shower water heated quickly and the breakfast was limited but decent.- The hotel is situated between a hospital, a freeway and a large gas station. The sirens and the revving engines go all day and all night.- They do not tell you housekeeping has to be requested prior to 9 a.m.- Your room key is needed to operate the elevators. Good luck getting it to work consistently with both the elevators and your room door.- I had no soap and the ac/heating unit rattled anytime it started. It took multiple tries before these issues were addressed. (Do not ask the night manager. He did nothing.)- The service was not great; wait times were too long. I can't blame the hotel for insufficient staffing if no ones wants to work. I can blame them for rude staff. (I guess I had the same rude night reservation clerk others have mentioned.)For a short business trip this might be an ok hotel; but for a family trip, there are plenty of other hotels closer to the downtown attractions. I suggest trying one of them.

I get there at midnight with reservations, thr hotel was over book and therefore I wait to 1.30am to get any room. No what I pay no what I want. The hotel is old and no one maintained well. The rooms and old us well. They charged $50 per day for parking and they take forever to bring the car. Bathroom without paint the main balcony door don't close and fall off. A day after I and I didn't see my bill.

Im extremely dissatisfaction with my recent experience at Staybridge.Upon arrival, I was met with the most unprofessional and rude behavior from the front desk staff. Despite my efforts to remain polite and patient, the individual in question was dismissive, unhelpful, and outright hostile. Not only was I told that there were no available rooms, but I was also informed that my reservation couldn't be located in your system due to it being booked through a third party. There were homeless people sleeping in the lobby & the room was nasty. Wouldn’t recommend.Noteworthy details: Wouldn’t recommend.

Great experience. Great size king suite. Very comfortable furniture, bed was firm but not in a bad way. Breakfast was fresh with so many options. Cereals, yogurt bar, eggs, waffles, and more. Evening social hour was a little bit lacking as they only put out 2 bottles of wine for what could have been many people. One night they served cocktail meatballs and steamed veggies. Another night it was pulled pork. Not one bad interaction with staff and there were plenty to be seen. Basically across the street from Marta and short walking distance to Fox theater and other attractions. Will go back!Safety: Security by doors and lobby’s I think mainly to keep out stragglers.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I have ever had- and I’m not that picky.I’ll start by saying that I am an IHG member, and have stayed at other staybridge locations, including this one two years ago. It’s hard to believe it’s gone this far downhill in that amount of time because it wasn’t like this before. It’s a shambles now.Where to start…our room was sub-standard. I’m not picking on every little thing here. There are dings and gouges in the walls that were clearly caused by careless guests with luggage carts. That’s fine. But we get to our room (there are photos of most of this) the carpet is being held down by tape and in other places it’s just fraying and coming up. The climate control unit had the front panel falling off, and it rattled incessantly so we couldn’t even hear the video we were trying to watch on our laptop. Why the laptop and not the tv? Because for some reason the tv is positioned so you can’t really use it from the bed or the couch. It’s completely useless where they have it. But back to the rattling unit…to make it stop rattling, we had to move furniture around and stack things on top of it to make it quiet.Speaking of climate control, when we came back to our room it was a balmy 76 degrees. Too warm for us. We attempted to adjust it down. Nope! Nothing happens. The thing just wants to sit there broken and rattling. Honestly, how do you even put guests in a room where the ac unit housing is not even attached to the body?!?! It’s a disgrace. The drywall is peeling too…looks great guys.So we left our disappointing room and went to look around. We located the pool area (which is closed in winter apparently) and I wish I had taken a photo of this. It was raining outside at the time, and the door to the pool area was half open and there was some kind of plastic cabinet or something on the floor where apparently someone had tried to use it to hold the door shut. Well it was open, water was pouring in from outside and it was just…..so ghetto. We found numerous doors labeled “staff only” just left open all over the place. I decided to just take a hot shower and go to bed. I went in the bathroom and turned on the hot water and waited. And waited. And waited. Annnnnddd. Waited. It took several minutes for hot water to start coming out. Not an exaggeration, I was just about to call the desk because we don’t seem to have hot water - when it finally started coming.Breakfast- this was actually not that bad. My biggest complaint is that the brown sugar container is full of a brick of brown sugar that you’d need a pickaxe to get any out of. Doesn’t anyone check these things? Do they not think it’s weird that they haven’t had to fill that in months? ( because no one can get any out). I poured a glass of coke from the fountain and it was warm and flat….The “social hour” was also somehow bungled. It’s supposed to last from 5:30-7:30. Yesterday it was a few minutes late, and a woman we talked to said she came down at 6:15 and everything was already shut down. Today she came down early, but by 5:50 there was still no social hour happening. When someone finally did bring something out - it was some fried items that had clearly been cooked ages ago. The fried cauliflower was rubbery and cold. Same with the fried pickles. The artichoke dip was also cold. Right after they brought it out - stone cold. All the people who had been waiting with us for the food threw theirs away in utter disgust because it was THAT BAD.I poured another class of coke thinking mine earlier had been a fluke. Nope, warm and flat. There was much discussion among the guests at that point because everyone was angry at the state of things in here. One woman told us she planned to check out and check in to the place next door.I don’t know if this place is being run by teenagers now or what, but nearly every part of our stay was far below what we expect in an IHG property.I can’t recommend this property at all, sorry. Spend your money or points elsewhere.

Relatively close to the convention center, super busy area however, very convenient. There’s no parking so, valet takes your vehicle for $50 and if you are planing on going around in and out, you better stay there and pay the valet because other places may charge you less but by the hour.Overall a mid quality estructure, the windows are not sound proof, you can hear every voice of the neighbors so as the traffic activity from outside, kind employees, breakfast was included in our room and it was super hearty and fresh, the facility was clean and neat.Rooms: Great space however, the structures could use some new painting (at least in the room we got) up from the 22nd floor, there’s all the noises you will hear, super loud but with an amazing view to the city.Nearby activities: Convention center around 10 minutes so as many restaurants.

Heater and toilet were broken in my room. It took 4 hours for the front desk to recognize the problems with the room and switch me to another room. The new room had a constant beeping noise. I’ve been waiting 12 hours for the front desk to resolve this issue. I would not recommend staying here.Rooms: Heater and toilet were broken in my room. It's two hotels in one... Crown plaza and Staybrige are every other floor. Issue is when I called for valet($50/day) and no one answered! Only to find out my sister had money, prescriptions, and other items STOLEN out of her car that was there before she gave her keys to valet!! Do NOT use valet service for this property !! Do not!! She's been trying to call with no luck! If you can afford it, pls stay somewhere more upscale!

The room was EXACTLY what I needed, double queen suite with pull out couch. The room had an electric stove top, pots and pans, dish soap and a fridge! It also featured a desk and bar counter top. The parking is very expensive ($50 valet and $36 parking garage for overnight). There is a cheaper parking garage on the other side of the hospital by Walgreens but it's a 5 minute walk.
