Went in to purchase a fridge and was turned away. Took 48 minutes to get an employee to assist. Jan was about as useless as a box of rocks. Asked for the manager and they asked Jan if they were on speaker and Jan said no. Norma and the assistant told her they were busy. I saw the managers chatting and giggling up at the front of the store. I left after a 2 hour ordeal trying to buy a fridge. Left with no purchase. Home Depot sucks!!

Went to the Tilly Mill HD yesterday for a variety of items. I had a cart full of plants and was headed past the appliances and electrical toward the paint department when I was greeted by your employee Angela. She complimented my plant choices and provided great planting and pest control advice. A real gem!

This review has been building for several months now. I am finally ready to vent and get it off my chest. I am a 12+ year loyal customer of the company. This is by far the absolute worst Home Depot I have ever been to in my life. Never in my life have I been treated so badly at a store that I frequently visit. I am an independent contractor and make a living off the products I buy from Home Depot. The Tilly Mill Home Depot is the closest to my home. To start things off let's talk about the cleanliness of the store... not only is the store filthy, there is so much stock waiting to be put on the shelf that it's hard to get down any aisle, without having to move the stuff yourself (because Lord knows you're not going find an employee) Just to get to the shelves. Many times have I not got the product I needed because the isles are so cluttered with carts, pallets, ladders, etc... making the shelves inaccessible. Which brings me to my #2 point... the employees. Every time I have walk into the Tilly Mill Home Depot I am made to feel like a criminal. Employees seem to be inconvenienced by the presence of costumers. I have once waited over three hours for employees to pull a door off of the top shelf that I needed because the door guy was "on his lunch break". I have become an expert in using the Home Depot mobile app to locate what I'm looking for. So many products are locked up behind cages so you are forced to walk around aimlessly trying to find the right person who can unlock it so you can get what you need. The only people who are of any help are the vendors who are at the store every once in a while. Employees are either nowhere to be found or standing around and groups of 3 to 4 call talking amongst themselves paying no attention to customers. The employees at the store just seem like they either don't want to be there or that working there is beneath them.My #3 point... Returns. I rarely return anything I buy at Home Depot, and when I do I am usually just needing to exchange an item. Within the last month I needed to exchange a kitchen faucet I bought because it was leaking right out of the box. In this specific situation t was picked up in a hurry, so I forgot to pt in my pro extra id and tossed the receipt into the bottomless receipt drawer. When I found it was busted I immediately went to exchange it, but didn't bring the receipt. This was by far the most unacceptable, frustrating, miserable and unpleasant experience EVER. They scanned my drivers license and proceeded to tell me that they couldn't do anything and the only reason was "computer says no"... it was like pulling teeth to get a manager to find out what was going on and said that he is calling in an override but I can only have one override ever. I was treated like a common thief and criminal. I thought they were going to try and put me in jail for exchanging a defective product. Like I said, I only return items mainly because they are broken out of the box and just want to exchange. #4... The "no self checkout" self checkout If you want self checkout then guess what??? I was told today that customers are not suppose to check themselves out anymore because of shrinkage. This really made me feel like I am being targeted because other customers were checking themselves out. I maybe many things, but the one thing i am not is a criminal and thief. I pride myself on is being a good person. I am a regular customer at this store, usually visiting at minimum 2 days a week and to be treated like this almost every time I am starting to believe I am being discriminated against because I'm not like the majority of the other customers who shop here as well. #5... The lumber quality... long story short I think this store gets all the second and third quality lumber and try to sell it as if it was clad in gold. I try to get to another Home Depot location if I need lumber.I'll leave you with this. I make a living with products I get from Home Depot and only visit this location because the one thing

Went to this store today to pick up a door and buy some lumbar to replace a rotting door frame. First, there were no associates to be found anywhere in the store itself other than the check out areas. When I did find somebody, he had zero knowledge of the products nor were they willing to help cut the lumbar to the size that we needed. Then their systems went down and they could not pull our order so that we could get the door ordered. We had to leave the store, get lunch, and come back. The cashiers had a very bad attitude and zero concern for customer service. The 8 foot door was left on a cart for us with no associate even offering to help us load it onto the Home Depot Rental truck. This store is desperately lacking basic management and customer service skills.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!On 10/24/2022 (over a month ago) I ordered a GE stackable washer/dryer Model #GUD27GSSMWW from Home Depot online...It was delivered a few days later but was damaged during the install. The installer contacted Home Depot and said how it was not working properly and they agreed on a replacement. After 7 more attempts (sometimes they'd show up but refuse the job while other times they didn't show up at all) and multiple phone calls I finally got a replacement! The installers replaced the machine and when they did their test the washer was once again not working properly and when they tested the dryer I immediately smelled gas which I was told was normal and that it would go away after a few uses. They left and when I did a load of wash the washer stopped mid way so I had to rig it to finish the load and when I went to use the dryer it set off all my smoke detectors and filled my house with fumes!! I immediately called Home Depot and for almost 2 weeks now I have been getting nothing but a run around. I still have a machine that doesn't work and that they refuse to pick up or make good on it (although they say they will but weeks later and they still have not). I even called GE and they too were no help!!Word of advise...stay away from Home Depot...They are NOT a company that stands by their name at all!!!

Online ordering is the worst and most frustrating. I placed an order asked for installation and instead it was just dropped off. I made several calls assuring me everything would be right. I'll never buy anything. Lowe's will be better

I'm a typical late 40's dad who does an occasional weekend project and visited this HD recently on a weekday afternoon to buy several large pieces of lumber for a backyard project. I spent over 45mins in the pressure treated lumber aisle looking looking for specific items and not one HD employee ever asked if they could help to find something or load it in my trolley. There were several employees on the aisle the entire time that talking to each other and a few others who walked past me as I was struggling to pull 10-16ft pieces of 4x4 and 4x6 heavy lumber down off the shelves and get them loaded on my trolley. After checking out I spent 30 mins in the parking lot right outside the exit door loading the lumber into my SUV and got no offers for help their either. While I didn't ask for help in either case both were obvious situations where someone could have used some help and someone atHD employee should have at least offered their help. Pretty disappointing given that HD was founded in Atlanta on the principles of helpful staff and competitive prices. The former clearly isn't the case anymore.

We had a very delightful experience at this location. McKinley was a joy with whom to work. He was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and patient. His supervisor was very pleasant as well.I definitely recommend shopping at this location.

This is a HORRIBLE & GREAT review. The first HD employee who served us was HORRIBLE. I waited patiently for his help while he assisted someone else. He turned his back on me and walked away. When I called out to him with "Excuse me?!", he turned around and said, " I'm helping someone else." I replied," Then why not just let me know, or say you'll be right back?" He made a face and turned and walked away. I went to the store manager. She heard me. She empathized. She said that the attitude was entirely wrong and asked for a name or descriptor. She took personal care of my question and need, made herself available and even provided a discount to compensate for the man's customer-no-service. She was GREAT.

My parents come here often about once a week. The place is pretty clean and organized but I'm giving three stars because my parents say that they find it difficult to find assistance. Maybe there aren't enough workers available at the store?

This Home Depot is sure to have what you need 90% of the time, but good luck finding it. The customer service at this location is lacking immensely. I will say, the people in the painting department have been wonderful to work with. They have knowledge of their products and are able to assist with general questions about other items as well. With everyone else: I have been to this location many times and hardly ever get approached to see if I need any help when looking for an item. When you do ask, no one seems to know where anything is. The customer service center and the checkout areas are always crowded, even though there are surpluses of employees in these areas. Almost all of the checkout lanes are self-checkout and it seems like every time I am next in line, the scanners are not charged and I have to find another kiosk that works, which is very frustrating. I was told by an employee that this location is known more for commercial products vs. residential products. I was told that the more residential-focused location is in Sandy Springs. That being said, this place is nice for a quick in and out if you know what you are looking for and where to find them in store. Other than that, I would go to Sandy Springs or the Ace Hardware up 141.

Every summer, (really, all year) I do some projects at home and need supplies. I have the Home Depot on Jimmy Carter and the Lowe's on Indian Trail at about the same distance from me, so I just check online to see who has what before I head out. Sometimes, I choose this one (in the past because it was right next to my grandmothers house). However, this Home Depot has some issues. I ordered at this Home Depot online and was very careful about my order because I have made mistakes in the past by putting down the wrong location and consequently going to the wrong place to pick up my order. However, several times, I have meticulously ordered from this location and they've sent e-Mails saying that they were ready for pick-up; only for me to arrive and find that they didn't have my order ready. When I went to go pick the order myself, since I was already there, they tried to tell me (on one occasion) that if I picked the order, they'd have to ring me up on a separate transaction and then I'd have to go online and request a refund. What the actual heck? No. I had to get the manager involved and he agreed that I could just check out at customer service by letting them know I got my items and having them check my ID (it's on my account because someone tried to steal my identity with Home Depot and ordered $3,000 worth of stuff - whole other story and city hours away from me that I'm not getting into) before they could give me a receipt. Well, I already had the items in hand (some chainsaw oil and a few "Off!" sprayers), but you know how long it took to get checked out when I was the only person at the counter? 20 minutes! When I had already gone and got everything for them. Crazy- and that's not the only time that's happened. Another Weird experience I had was when I ordered something from them and it said it was in stock, got there (because they emailed me and said it was all ready to go), and then found out that they had marked it ready but hadn't pulled the materials- then they ended up not having some of the materials and they said I could wait for a week for it to arrive at their store on back-order or I could go to another store and buy it there and call the customer help center for a refund on the online order. Why?! They make my life so difficult. Obviously, I stopped order from this Home Depot. I really only go to this store if it happens to be on my way somewhere, these days. Other in-store experiences I've had at this store are as follows (in short): 1.) No one there was able to help me find what I was looking for - 4 employees tried and the. Passed me off to someone else. I found it myself before the 5th one came. 2.) I was fussed at by a lady in customer service because I didn't have my receipt on something I bought that day, from that store, and all I needed was an exchange for a different size. She didn't do the exchange. 3.) Went to an employee and asked for help. They directed me to the customer service desk and then I waited for 10-15 minutes before anyone came- I also asked other employees to call for someone a couple of times, while I waited. 4.) Wood cutter unavailable to do cuts. Just straight up unavailable. No wait. They wouldn't have anyone else come cut it either. 5.) They put employees on the self-checkouts, hindering the convenience and speed. It's self-checkout. For why?! There are more, but I'm tired of reviewing this Home Depot. You can do better, much better. In short, if you need something and know exactly what it is and are passing by, MAYBE stop in to grab it, but otherwise- just steer clear of this one.

Really just want to shout out to Narissa who answered my call and helped me with an urgent quote for a customer of mine who was on a time crunch! She was patient and informative and calmed me down after I had called in 3x prior only to get hung up on. Thank you Narissa! As for the individual at the pro service desk that hung up my the transferred call 3x in a row, I hope management addresses your wholly unprofessional behavior. But one bad apple doesn't ruin a whole store so at least you have Narissa!

Wanted to give a quick shout out to Julian (or Julius?) in the Tile area - super nice & informative. Very friendly too. I like this THD since parking is great, usually has what I need, and most of the time - people who know what they're talking about, haha. Julian/Julius probably saw me 4-5 days back to back since I'm currently renovating my kitchen and I had to pick out tile and buy samples etc. He helped me by telling me what was expensive/affordable/what was probably "trendy" v "the usual". He also helped me choose the grout by showing me the tray employees have. My tile/grout choosing went from "ugh why" to "this process wasn't THAT painful" - which felt nice. After looking at a ton of tile/grout online - my eyes were just done.

Masks and social distancing is a must here. My husband and I came here to look for some reasonable carpet for our patio. Many selections are on sale. The two employees at the carpet department were really helpful. They went over and beyond to assist us. My husband wanted to get the green color, but I liked the gray. Our apartment is gray, so that's what we got. I also purchased a Georgia peach welcome mat for outside. My only complaint here is, not many human cashiers. I like self check outs, but you can't use self checkouts when you have measurement items and etc. Please hire more cashiers. But, anything you are looking for when it comes to home improvement, Home Depot is definitely the place to shop at.We will be back soon. :-)
