For truck driver: they unload your ubox from the street. No ramp there. Just Park near the building and go to main entrance let them you a here. Take exit 56A, turn left TO McDaniel St, than right turn to Peters St SW. There is no u-turn space so to leave I'm going couple blocks strait and make right turn to Ted Turner Dr and then back to I-20. Peoples was friendly and fast.

Rented a 15 foot truck for moving. I rented the truck through the truck share so I wouldn’t have to wait for opening. Got there at 8 for a pick up time of 8:30, no truck. Called and talked to customer service, who didn’t know nothing. (Not good when I’m already frustrated) Was then transferred to a 24/7 support who takes care of truck share and Jasmine told me it that Uhaul responsible for me not having my truck ready. So when I had to wait for the store to open. Jasmine also told she was sending my complaint to the supervisor. And that I would hear something from them today since they are open 24/7. Haven’t heard anything yet. Then went into store and spoke with Letitica who told me that both customers service officers were giving me the wrong information and that I had to redo all that paperwork. She was very rude and unprofessional. Still waiting on supervisor to contact me. Horrible customer service everything. Uhaul in McDonough Avalon Pkwy.

I had my items stored in a uBox at their location and it got broken into. Instead of the staff just letting me know they put their own locks on my storage in the place of mine that were broken off. When my items arrived, I couldn’t get my belongings out because they didn’t have the decency to at least give me keys to the locks they put on my storage. Super disappointing. Then when I reported my items stolen and followed up because I hadn’t heard back, I was told the uHaul staff left notes saying that a family member found my missing items. Total lie so I feel this was an inside job and they probably rob people who leave their things in storage regularly.

Awful experience here on multiple fronts, I would actively go out of my way or pay more to avoid using this location in the future, and I would suggest you do as well.1. Both of my U-boxes suffered water damage from a flood in downtown Atlanta.2. I visit the location to assess water damage, estimated wait time will be over an hour to ACCESS MY U-BOX.3. I visit the location a second time with an appointment to access my box at 10:30am. The U-Box is not pulled until 12:30pm, and only after finding the owner (since the employees behind the counter were incredibly unhelpful).4. Given our awful experience with the customer service here, we tried to move to a different U-Haul location in Atlanta. We've been on the phone with the local scheduler for 2 hours because the scheduler doesn't know the difference between "putting someone on hold" and "hanging up". We've had to call back three times and might or might not ever see our stuff again.All around, quite possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced (and I've flown Spirit and Frontier).

Shifted my reservation to a secondary location without notifying me until I walked in. Drove to the second location. They didn't have my truck or any of the equipment I reserved. At my own cost switched to a bigger truck than I needed just so I could get moving. Went back to this location to find equipment (dollies) they didn't have any. Reservation means nothing. Don't rent here. Go to Home Depot, like I had to to get an appliance dolly. They have a lot of trucks and could have saved me two hours of my time.

I read the reviews for this location. Therefore, I did not rent a Uhal here.However, Uhaul contacted me to “ request” I take a tow dolly to my ending destination from this location.We arrived to pick- up the tow dolly.This location lacked customer service entirely. They attempted to charge us for a tow we were requested to take. They made NO efforts to contact the requesting agent to clarify the arrangements.While this location is large and busy, customer service is a must and this location, led by the manger on duty on 9/10/23, between 9:00-10:00AM showed absolutely No Customer Service regarding what I consider we were “ doing a favor for Uhaul”.

I hope a bad customer review can get this location's attention: I originally reserved two Ubox, cancelled one, and I got all my stuff on time. Experience was great there. Then I noticed I have been charged monthly storage fee for many months for an imaginery second box. I called multiple times as the fee were almost adding up to $1K and never heard back. Finally someone confirmed it was an error and all will be fine. Just today I received another notice that I owe $900 because I haven't been paying storage fee and my 'items' will be auctioned off. Its been 1.5 year since I used Ubox I cannot believe I am doing this again. Can someone please make this stop

Worst storage place in Atlanta ! Beware of the short Mexican lady she is rude and doesn’t care about the customers experience . The women staff are unaware of what’s going on and don’t follow directions instead of making sure your taking your time and understanding the customer they rush you as if they understand and turn around and mess up everything with your booking . The Mexican lady was upset because she failed to communicate that I didn’t have a unit booked and all that was booked was a truck . I was confused because the day I’ve already started the process over the phone with a rep and once I arrived to the store instead of her pulling up what was already done she started a new booking. That’s have everything got confused . On top of that she was being spiteful and gave us a storage unit with an additions wall in it . So the storage unit turned out to be smaller than what the display storage unit showed . No AC on the elevator or the 2nd floor . Literally paying $112 for an 5x 10 small child’s closet . Prices are high for no reason oh just bc it’s closer to down town a true rip off . Also they have roaches I seen more than one as I was getting off the elevator on the 2nd floor also The elevator stops working at 5 some days and 7 other days it all depends on which employee tells you . But I will say the lighter skinned young man with short curly hair was very helpful and understanding. Corporate clearly needs to do pop ups or send more time at this location.

Getting storage was quick plus THEY ARE THE CHEAPEST. Unfortunately they close very early, but good service. No contract. Helpful employees.
