Did truck rental on 12/30/2023, everything went okay up until the return of the truck. I returned the truck on 12/30/2023 at 4:00 pm, was told that the computers were down, I had a witness to the entire transaction from beginning to end, but that didn't seem to matter..They did not close out my account, they let someone else use the truck and I was charged twice on my credit card and they said I turned the truck in 2 days later on 1/1/2024. I heard an employee Keshia say she was renting a truck for her sister later in the day and I know that bill had to be added to mine because same truck was used and my credit card was billed two separate transactions. I might be stuck with this bill but be watchful if you are using a credit card and don't believe that people will do right and not take advantage of people's stressful situation. Make sure you take pictures of everything, mileage, gas gauge and truck number and please make sure all pictures are date and time stamped, plus names of everyone involved. Also, now uhaul says they have no record of my call. In closing I had a bad experience and I won't be recommending this place to anyone for rental of a uhaul truck. I should have taken heed from the young lady that took my registration on 12/29/2023, when she said it would probably be better to use cash, instead of a credit card. I should have paid attention to the warning. So beware.
