The U-Haul I received was fine. Until it was time to return it. The battery died and we had to find a way to jump it. It was so inconvenient and I was almost late to return it. When we got it back to the U-Haul place I told the staff that the battery died on us and she said, “oh ok.” That’s it. She wasn’t rude, but she didn’t seem to care about our experience. The whole thing just turned me off from U-Haul. I was also going to be charged $25 for 7 miles of gas. The needle had barely moved so I’m thankful I noticed the slight movement or they would have sent me a bill.

Rented a truck last minute for a local move out of my storage unit. Everything went fine. Was able to pickup the truck quickly (highly recommend checking in online and uploading your drivers license info as that sped things up), truck was fine, they had the appliance dolly and pads and the rental process went smoothly.I'll use this location again if I need to in the future.

Was charged $30 extra for 6 gallons of gas AFTER only driving 14 miles AND putting gas into the truck before returning it. This was due to an inaccurate reading of gas prior to leaving the facility. I spoke to the manager Fadia and told her the gas reading they were stating it was at prior was inaccurate. She stated she could not assist me because I was supposed to do a precheck before I left the facility. I expressed to her I didn’t know anything about a pre check before I left and no one explained that to me, and I didn’t notice the text until later. She was absolutely no help, stating “everyone who works here at this location tells customers about the precheck every single time” which is completely unreasonable and unrealistic. She had terrible customer service, she didn’t even want to acknowledge the accused amount of gas shortage and the amount of mileage I drove on top of putting gas in the truck didn’t add up. I requested a supervisor contact information or for a supervisor to contact me and she refused to help me, stating I will have to call 1800uhaul number to put in a complaint and request contact through them. Extremely disappointed in service and feel taken advantage of.

The U haul App. and website isn't vey useful. First used your website to find the trailer I needed and a location near me that said they had one available for whenI need it.. then I booked it. got a conformation for it at that location. then installed the app. then got a text telling that location doesn't have that trailer. SO I went back online to find a location that does have one. The original location I booked kept coming up saying it was available. So then I called and no they don't have it. Only took me the costumer 45 mins to find one. went to the website installed your app made 4 phone calls and received about 6 text before I was able to talk to someone and Find a trailer.

I rent a 5x8 open trailer from this location pretty frequently. It is always quick and easy and the staff is always helpful and polite. I recommend this location, conveniently located next to Sam's Club, right off of I-85.

the worst place to rent from , my storage was recent up for auction for 08-01 I had until then to made the payment . I paid the full balance on 07-28. a week later I went to get a few things out of my storage there was still a lock on my storage that wouldn't allow me access unless I knew the code it was on a Sunday after busin hours so I had to wait until the next day to speak with them. if your familiar with this place of business then you know they NEVER answer the phone EVER !!! I contacted customer service and they were able to get me through to them right away . they informed me all that I needed to have is my ID when I come in the get the code to the lock that was placed on my storage unit . I come in Monday to get the code when I arrive never told her who I was or never showed ID she knew who I was . she then stated that she had to take care of a customer so I waited outside . doing that time I noticed she was what I would observed " stoilling " she was contac the manager above her to see what the code was to access the lock on my unit when we arrived to my unit and use the code that she said would unlock it did not work . mind you she was first saying that she couldn't find the code she had to go home and get it then she suddenly found it she even went as far as saying she was in the hospital. I asked can they call a locksmith to have it removed they toldme no one was available I called on they arrived in 30mins and the facility refused to pay for it . after that I was told that someone work take care of it the next day I was contacted on Wednesday informing me that I could come in and assess my unit I get there Today and the worst thing that could p happen did as I going through my storage my i noticced some never expensive item were missing just gone I've been with them since 2021 and I have never had this issue I filed a police report but I want to get some help with this matter I know for a fact that they took my things keep in mind that I havnt had access or been to my storage since December be I was behind on my rent so who else would've stole my items

Absolutely horrible. Highway robbery. I always have good experiences with U-Haul, but this is the worst I have ever seen. Please save yourself and do not rent from this U-Haul.

Renting a truck from uhaul was a horrible experience. When I got there they told everyone, including me, that there were no trucks available even when we all had a reservation for that location. They didn't have a dolly either which I had reserved. I started calling places and a location told me they had a dolly that I could rent at a different location. The location was the one I was already at that had no dollys. Bad experience. Thankfully my move was local but imagine the people that HAD to move that day and now couldn't because of Uhaul. The lady at the counter said that the reservation dept always does this, they overbook trucks.

Obvious hustle going on with the dolly situation in there. Really unfortunate that management presses customers into a $40to $80 purchase of a showroom full of dolly's on Saturday morning at 9:00am, and conveniently having none available for rental nor provided communication of this key piece being unavailable. Disappointed in U-haul management.

Vehicle I reserved wasn’t available, so I had to settle for another. Wasn’t told that the my anticipated return time would become binding, and was this charged for an extra “day” despite having the vehicle for less than 5 hours.

AVOID THIS LOCATION IF YOU CANAfter two negative experiences here, I cannot encourage anyone (especially feminine ppl) to come here. Came in for my trailer reservation and the man didn't believe I had everything I needed. He spoke down to me and was genuinely surprised I had a tow hitch on my car. I did have a few questions and a couple things I needed but this man refused to listen to my questions, told me I needed something (that I already had, but I had questions about, so he assumed I didn't have it) and sent me to a different location. He spent more time explaining the directions to the other location than doing anything else. He didn't even try to listen to me or be helpful at all. PLEASE go to the Shallowford location. Everyone there was helpful and friendly. Avoid this one at all costs. Unless you like being mansplained and spoken to condescendingly.

Ms Piggy or Penny that works here is horrible .. she is very rude and does not have respect for customers at all.I came here to pick up a truck she rolled her eyes as soon as I asked a question because I never used uhaul before .. she ignored my question and her co-worker answered it for me. They also did not check the truck properly because the taillight was out.. I didn’t find out until I was pulled over ..ALSO! there were water-bugs in the truck I will never! Ever use u-haul again.
