Had a great first experience at Urban Evolution Salon and was very pleased with my haircut and color with Tana. She is very welcoming and easy to talk with and the salon is very low key and relaxing. Looking forward to my next appointment!!

I had the best haircut experience with Jason! He was kind, caring, professional, and listened to my concerns about my thinning hair. Jason evaluated my hair, educated me on the growth patterns, and showed me ways to cover up the thinning areas.
I walked out with a smile on my face and I'm super happy with my hair cut. Everyone in the salon was warm, welcoming, and attentive. I found my new salon home!

The best hair cut I’ve had in years! In spite of the fact that I didn’t know how to describe what I wanted, Emily immediately understood, and exceeded my expectations. She made the whole salon experience fun and I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. I rescheduled for next month and look forward to now being well quaffed all the time.

This was my first time at Urban Evolution and I will definitely be back! I saw Bre today and she did not disappoint. I got a cut and color which required lightening before the final application and I am extremely satisfied. She was diligent in her work, knowledgeable and patient with me and all my questions. I have an appt to come back in 8 weeks! Highly recommend!

The one star is for the receptionist, Arlena. I would give zero stars if that was an option.
I’ve been going to the salon for years and love the stylists there, especially Tana. I had a different stylist for my last appointment. While the stylist overall was great, I had an unpleasant experience with the stylist not properly shaking out my hair after a wet cut (didn’t have time for a blow dry) so I left the salon with locks of hair falling out of my head. I didn’t realize this was the case until I was in the car driving home. There was cut hair all over my car, clothing and house. It would’ve taken the stylist less than a minute to shake my hair out so there isn’t cut hair everywhere. I left private feedback to the salon. The receptionist, Arlena, called me for more details. I repeatedly explained that I wasn’t upset but left review so another client wouldn’t experience that situation. Arlena spent the entire time on the phone being argumentative and trying to defend the situation by saying that the reason I left with locks of hair falling out of my head was because I didn’t get a blow dry. I tried so hard to explain to her that I’ve left salons before with wet hair after a cut and there isn’t cut particles of hair all over me. I was unclear why Arlena called me back if she was going to spend all her time just being defensive. I’m very disappointed by how this was handled. She would’ve been better off just not calling me. They’ve certainly lost my business.
