The Pryor Street post office is the best! I’ve shipped dozens of packages from this location and not had any issues. The team is also friendly and helpful.

Extremely quick service, the quickest I have ever been in and out of a post office. Marcus was extremely helpful, kind and professional. The woman behind the other register was very kind as well. Overall the best experience I’ve ever had at a usps location.

Marquia Fisher's professionalism, kindness, and upbeat spirit shone brightly even though I found myself at the back of a very long line. My attention was immediately drawn to her because of how she interacted with one of her customers.She tackled the line with impressive efficiency. When a customer needed to make corrections, Marquia explained everything clearly and asked them to step aside briefly. While they made the changes, she served two other customers, then promptly assisted the first customer upon their return.This representative was incredibly kind. She made every customer feel heard, cared for, and appreciated, all while managing to keep the line moving smoothly.Another employee, Marcus, was retrieving an item from the back for a customer. Before leaving, he kindly asked if anyone else needed something – I was the only one. I gave him my slip, but before he departed, I inquired about the other representative's name. He informed me it was Ms. Fisher. When she heard her name called, she turned her attention to me and Marcus, giving me the perfect opportunity to praise her exceptional customer service skills.Marcus returned with my package, but unfortunately, he encountered difficulty finding the package belonging to the previous customer. Despite this, he provided me with my package without a receipt, as none was required.Although tempted to leave, I felt compelled to write a review. So, I entered the post office again and made a small purchase with Marquia just to obtain a receipt with all the necessary information for writing my review. There were four of us waiting – Marquia informed the two customers ahead of me that Marcus was still searching for their package.At that moment, Marcus returned with his customer's package, both of them visibly relieved. I purchased my stamp, expressed my sincere appreciation to Marquia for her excellent service, and exited the post office alongside the customer who had finally received his package. He confided in me that he'd feared he wouldn't get his package, and I truly believe he wouldn't have, without Marcus's dedication to finding it.Most times, post office visits involve impersonal, dry unhappy representatives seemingly wishing they weren't there. Witnessing Marquia rise above these all the difficult challenges of this kind of job, remaining exceptionally kind, professional, and efficient while making her customers feel valued was truly refreshing. Thanks to Marquia and Marcus for making my and I’m sure others post office experience positive and beautiful.

They literally made up a lie that my packages couldn’t be scanned and I couldn’t get a receipt because the date on the label was pre-labeled. I then went right up the street and brought back my receipt from the post office who gladly accepted my prepaid labels.. (like every other one does) & the lady then says “well it’s a new rule, cause customers be blaming the post office saying we held y’all package all that time” girl.. you made this up.. I ship out thousands of orders with predated labels.. this is not a rule & it’s not cool for people working for usps to create false policies when people are running businesses & rely on usps to do their job, laziness can cause many inconveniences for other people. Do better. Stop making stuff up!

I walked into this post office located at 400 Pryor st SW at 445 and the two ladies that were at the front were very rude. I had a few letters to mail off and they made smart remarks and comments about doing so for me. I had some stamped and some certified and they were e not very helpful or willing to help me. They made me feel like I was bothering them because they were about to close. I mail letters off for my business everyday and never had to pay more for a letter being classified as a package when I do this again everyday. I felt they wanted to up charge me cause they were mad they had to do some work before closing. I felt uncomfortable and left and decided to go to another establishment. I will never return here or recommend anyone else cause these women were very nasty, laughing in my face and just making jokes about me needing service like it's not their job they get paid to do.

No prepaid package drop off bin or dropbox. Why should I have to wait 20 min or more just to hand a package over the counter? There is zero consistency between post offices in this county.

11:51 Just leaving the Pryor Street GHETTO post office. The young lady and I have to say young lady because of course she had no name tag! Was so nice nasty she should have received an AWARD. I dont care of if I have to drive miles I will never come back. I was sending off a telephone UPS first class, in which i didnt have to pay because the postal was already paid for. She made me purchase tape because she said they dont use their tape to tape up first class ???. It is a paid postage. I paid $4 for the tape. I asked her if she will place fragile on it and she couldnt find the stamp!!! Just throw away the whole post office. Then she said have a good day with an attitide. Yup she was the only one working with a line as long as your arm. No excuse for beung RUDE!!!!

Good afternoon everyone hope all is well now this place it's kind of different to me the customer service is not on point come to find out I had to have other stuff if I wanted to PO box it was 102 every 6 months so no when you coming for a PO box you don't have to pay you know a different price for different things also I had to get cash in the morning because the system shut down so be careful as well be prepared just to know what you therefore I already have your confirmation code number walking in already prepared because if you go there it's a line only two people at a time can go in so if you don't get there in the morning and have everything done prepared away or come back so this is why they get a very low score you can go check it out but just be prepared and any place you go and just thanks that's what it is a change we can adapt to it or you can stress about it but however we do just get through it like I always say be blessed not stressed. And how this review was all over the place I was talking is how they were in the building and with the customer service

I rec emails that indicate when I rec mail to my p.o. box..when I go to get the mail it's NEVER in my p.o. box..the notice in the building states all mail is place in p.o. box by 11:30a..this is a lie..it's 12:11p Sat and none of this mail has been placed in my p.o. box..I drive 30 min when there is no traffic to retrieve my mail..I understand why they beg for raises..they don't deserve them when you don't do your job..When I came back in to check box again..there was two colleagues bitchin and complaining about someone not doing their job..LOUD and CLEAR.
