Why is it so hard to open a business on time?So disrespectful.Others have commitments and schedules to keep - I know this doesn't concern the employees here - but do your job and open the business on time.

First off the post office did not open at 9 a.m.! No one came until 9:30 a.m. Then when I asked why they opened so late, the man became very curt and short with me saying things happen! I had ten package I needed to mail. When he got to the 8th one he asked how many more packages did I have very nasty? Did it matter? Is it not their job to take packages no matter how many you may have? I replied two more and wanted to say more but knew if I did, me and him would get into a nasty confrontation so I left it at that. I shouldn't have to deal with someone being rude when asking why are you so late opening after all, I'm the one being inconvenienced and had to wait a half an hour AND was late for my job because of it but I guess that doesn't matter! What ever happened to customer service!!??

I went to the USPS on Piedmont this morning to get a money order. The rep, Mr. Reese, seemed to get into it with everybody there. I approached and said good morning and how are you hoping to ease the tension. This didn't help as he continued to talk over me and not listen to the questions I was actually asking. Instead, he wanted to tell me things that I didn't inquire about. I expect more from Government employees. Especially in an industry that has been on the verge of closing for decades. If people don't want to do the job THEY applied for, quit, as I'm sure they're are people willing and ready to do the job correctly.

I’ve had a P.O. Box here for 10 years. Sometimes line can be long if I need mail services but staff was always friendly and remembered me. But just this week my box had expired 1st of the month (my summer slows down and don’t need to go there as often) and a new teller would not let me renew without filling out all new paperwork and 2 forms of ID. Another teller knew me but new person might’ve been training someone and needed to show how to manage someone who’s probably made 200 visits into the branch by not being flexible. I live 20 mins away now and didn’t have the ID on me, I just gave him my key and told him to keep my catalogs. Where is the community? Treat regulars right and they’ll stay customers.

This post office is Hell's Waiting Room.I don't mean to be rude but the elderly lady frequently working here is so old. I actually have no idea if she still knows the system. If she does she moves at a glacial pace to get anything done.America, please allow this woman to retire so this post office can be staffed correctly. Someone MUCH faster and more efficient should be at the helm if it's only one person behind the counter!

You may wait and not even get helped. I arrived at 4:45 (15 min before closing) and waited until 5:15 before being told no one else would be helped. She did announce that she would stop serving people sometime after 5, but this was after I joined the line so I decided to take my chances. While I understand there needs to be a cutoff, a much more effective strategy would be to pick someone to be the “end of the line” instead of making it a surprise. She also said they are not allowed to lock the door until 6pm, which is ludicrous if they are going to allow people to come in and waste their time waiting. I have come one other time and mailed a package and it was very very slow that time as well.

Definitely here to change the narrative. I was nervous to come into this location based on the reviews. But Burchette and Erika was amazing. Very helpful and professional.

Worst because the lobby hours on Saturdays is 9-1. It's 9:28 am I gotta wait 30 minutes in the cold because they lost the keys to open the building. I don't have a car to go and come back like that ?????????

This was my first and last time visiting this post office!!!I took an expensive Lyft to get to this post office due to the amount of boxes I had and when I got there at 9:14 am, the place was closed and people were waiting outside. Those people eventually gave up and I was the only one standing. I saw many people come and go when they saw the place wasn't open. The post office finally opened around 10:15 am but was supposed to open at 9 am.There was only one worker and she was elderly and rude. Her tone was argumentative not just with me but several others I witnessed. She charged me an arm and a leg to send my boxes a few states over.I normally read reviews before I do business with any company or location but I was in a hurry this time and had to get my boxes sent ahead of a flight and international move. I wish I would have read these reviews before wasting my time!

This location is so close to home that I haven't bothered to find an alternative for the last decade. That has to change now. This place is regularly closed at times it's supposed to be open. The doors are locked at times the lobby area is supposed to be available. My final straw was nobody showing up for work on a Friday before the 3 day MLK weekend. One day in July of 2021, I went to this location and found a line of 11 people ahead of me. Past experience told me that if there are more than 3 or 4 people in line, it's going to be a long wait. It took 83 minutes for me to get to the counter. At about 45 minutes into the wait, both window workers just walked away for 17 minutes. They didn't tell anyone in line that they were taking a break. By then, we'd all been there so long, none of us were going to leave. They came back 15 minutes later. The contempt for their customers is palpable.

It’s inside the hospital building, so a little tricky to find the place. And cash only (no debit or credit card). However, the lady works here is so nice and helpful that I wanna give her a hug to appreciate. Tried the other USPS before where there is always long line and staff giving confused information.

The lady is so friendly and helpful. The mail actually gets to it's destination ON TIME. I have had horrible experiences at midtown post offices and others. I won't be going anywhere else!

Just a window and some mailboxes on the bottom floor of the hospital window, but they ship packages and letters from here. And as others have said, the people running the place are very friendly and helpful. They only accept cash and checks with ID. No credit or debit cards.
