I’ve been to so many post offices over the country and this is by far my favorite. They are efficient, knowledgeable, and always have supplies in stock. I go out of my way to come to this post office because it’s worth it. People complaining about service have not been to a post office in NYC and it shows 🤣

This is my neighborhood post office but I dread it when I have to come here. The postal workers at this location always seem to be in a bad mood, and I feel like I’m asking for a favor to ship my packages. But it’s USPS so they can get away with it.

I have been into this post office twice in the last few weeks and have had the very unfortunate experience of being waited on by the same man. He is incredibly rude, and I highly suspect, racist. Just stared at me with absolute contempt. Total jerk both times I have encountered him.

The scene: I had originally went to the post office on Moreland Avenue in Atlanta but when I got there, I realized that that location was closed indefinitely. Then, I found that there was another Post office not far away on Highland Avenue, so I went there. I got there about 4:55 pm—five minutes before closing. There was no line, so I went right up to one of the two mail clerks, the female one.
The issue: I had a package that I wanted to mail to St. Lucia but I also wanted to put a money order inside it before I mailed it. She said, “But it’s 4:56.” I said, “What does that mean?” She said, “Since we close at 5:00, it’s too late to do money orders, especially an international one. I said, “Okay then, forget the money order, I’ll just mail the package.”She proceeded to tell me that I would have to fill out a customs form and since it’s 4:56, I will have to go to a post office that late hours in order for me to do that.
The outcome: This woman literally refused to help me! I protested and she said, “And you have a great day, ma’am,” as I walked out the door. The other customer there agreed that the female clerk was very lazy and rude and that I need to report her to management.

I must just always hit the right time of day, (usually around 10am) but have never had to wait in line and the staff is always courteous and helpful.

Each time I visit this location I am disappointed with their disrespectful customer service. Unfortunately, if you have questions that may require their help, you are treated as an inconvenience. There is a complete lack of support given by the staff.

This place sucks, everyone is rude and they lose packages so consistently it's insane. From the demeanor of every employee I've spoken to here, you'd think working for USPS is a prison sentence.

Staff here is rude every time.
I was on line to return a package and needed to buy tape to seal it. When I got to the counter I was sent away bc the package wasn’t taped. You’d think they’d want you to purchase the tape before using it. But okay I taped it on the spot in 5 seconds. She didn’t care and refused to accept my package and beckoned to the person behind me to service them. What a power trip…

I’ve been to this post office several times and they are never, ever open past 3:30, even though their hours are till 5pm. I just got here at 3:45 and they’re closed with their usual system is down sign. I’ve also been in here before and the man who usually works here was kicking people out at 4pm. I’m not sure if they’re understaffed or what. If it’s after 3pm, they probably aren’t open. Plus, the guy who is always working in there is always a little unfriendly.

Fast, reliable, friendly service. I come to this post office almost daily. I bring a lot of packages and my scan sheet. I never have an issue when I drop off at this location. Thanks for all you do! I appreciate you all.
