Very nice teller assisted me choosing the right delivery option for a very important letter. On the way out, she reminded me to take a photo of my receipt to keep my tracking number. The receipts are heat sensitive and the print might disappear! So thoughtful.

Was not open at 9, or by 9:15, at which point I gave up and left. The intersection leading into this overall place is a nightmare of terrible, dangerous design. All in all, avoid this location

For many years I have done everything I can to avoid going to the post office. My experience yesterday reminded me WHY I avoid post offices. The gentleman behind the counter could not have been more beligerant, unhelpful and all-around unpleasant. I left without mailing my package because he made a simple task of purchasing postage virtually impossible. I will have to go to a post office somewhere (maybe downtown Decatur) to mail my package. But I will NEVER darken the door of this post office EVER AGAIN.

Went to this postal office and they refused to scan my package in and claimed that it was “late” even though it had only been a few days since I had created the shipping label. I have made the mistake of coming here previously and dropping my package off without it being scanned and then it being lost in the mail. When I had called USPS support they had let me know that every office should scan in their packages from the moment they get it. I tried to go back to see if that was the problem, but they were extremely rude in explaining this to me and completely dismissive. If you can, avoid this USPS at all costs

Idk about all these 1 stars' experiences, but in my case today the lady kindly helped me with my needs which were various and confusing, I didn't have to wait, and they were open at almost closing.

Staff was condescending and rude. Told me I need to scratch out the old label and told me I couldn’t use their marker to do so, I had to buy one. Luckily I had a pen but he was very unpleasant about it.

Miss Wise had the patience of a saint. Might be spelling her name wrong or it’s something that sounds similar because I only overheard it. But right near closing hours she was giving excellent customer service to an individual for at least 10 minutes while the customer was being incredibly rude, not understanding anything about how mail works, and asking questions while refusing answers in the most infuriating way. I mean, it was so bad that someone else in the line jokingly asked my partner and I whether we would call the cops if they *family friendly version for the review* removed the person from the planet. I don’t know how Miss Wise got through that without a single comment about the ridiculousness, kudos to her.

Don’t trust this for any of your important packages. I was expecting a package from an and they have sent the empty package back to my friend without content inside. I made many complaints to the hotline and they promised to look for it. They were never found. DONT TRUST USPS for anything.

Hours at this location are completely inconsistent. They like to open and close as they please. Lunch happens whenever they get around to it, so I've come a couple of times when lunch was supposed to be over, yet see a note on the front door saying they will be back at a later time. This is my closest post office, but I might have to start going to another one. There's one nice guy here, but the rest of the staff are horrible and rude. USPS needs to get it together.
