If I could give zero I would. My package pickup requests get ignored, and now they've stolen my check and taken no accountability. Do not move to East Point if you want to get a working post office.

I mailed three packages from this location today because it is close to where I work. I hope and pray that every single item in each box goes towards the intended recipients. After paying for the shipments and leaving- I thought immediately that there had to be ongoing theft from workers at this location (based on what clerk 77 mentioned). I ended up writing a letter to postmaster Dejoy. The clerk 77 stated that they could only insure priority packages for $100 or $500 and nothing in between. I asked when this change took place- she said it has been at least a year. Really? I’d never heard if this and I mail packages from the Crown Road Atl and UC (when they have staff). If I’d paid for the $500 insurance, it would’ve been $19 additional on top of the package cost. This refusal to allow customers to pick the insurance they need (more than $100 and less than $500) has to be a tactic which allows them to continue to steal but curb the cost of high insurance payouts (due to loss or theft) because the cost will deter customers in paying for $500 worth of insurance. USPS better get it together- sounds like their practices at this location need to result in a lawsuit. Never have I ever been denied being able to insure any priority package for $200 until today… i will return to the site if there is a problem. I’m closely watching the tracking. If everything arrives safe and sound- I may increase the ratings to two stars. I just don’t have confidence in these people… and the customers deserve better.

It's been less than 2 months and so far 5 packages I'm supposed to have received have been lost. When I go into the office and inquire about the missing packages, they just say give us your information and we'll get back to you.I have never been contacted back. When I go back in to inquire again. It's the same thing, leave your info and we'll get back to you.I don't like to use the word hate, but I hate this post office!!

Made the horrible mistake of sending a certified first class letter to a government office from this USPS location on 12/7. First the clerk in the attached video refused to allow me to receive my receipt via email even though the system asks each customer their preference. When I stated I preferred email she lied and said “the system message came and went too fast and now I can’t do it”. When I then stood my ground and continued to request my receipt via email as is my right, she kept trying to loud talk me, grew very disrespectful and generally the typical rude disrespectful behaviors we constantly have to deal with when using USPS especially in neighborhoods like this. For some reason USPS empowers these people to think they can treat people any old way. I had to wait for a manager to manually scan my receipt and email it to me instead of the normal email which frankly is more work for them. And now three weeks later, I check the tracking and though it’s only going from one part of Atlanta to another it’s been in limbo with one update an entire week later and none since then. What could’ve happened to a certified letter going to the Georgia Equal Opportunity Commissioner except it was tampered with by the employee who clearly has an issue with customer service which is a federal offense. Know that this letter better show up or I’ll be moving forward with all prosecution available. It’s time out for USPS workers thinking they can do whatever and treat people any old way and get away with it.

My package was delivered here and signed by Supervisor Durham. I’ve been here 3 days straight and they can’t find my package. At this point someone stole my package that works here. These were my work uniforms.

This location puts a “gone to lunch” sign on their door from 11:30am - 1pm. That 1.5 hr lunch is not mentioned for their hours of operation. You will not be serviced if you go during that time.

The customer service is great. The lack of support this location receives is minimal from a corporate level. It’s unfortunate because this is the main postal location I use and the wait times are so long it’s normal for people to simply leave and walk out. Thank you for those with customer service and respect. USPS East Point I do hope things get better.Mrs. Gohlston provided excellent customer service and worked very swiftly

They won't answer calls and they lost 2 shipments in a row that I had to get refunded for and I really needed the items. They also keep putting mail into mailboxes that don't belong to that address. They told me to have the people I bought my items from send another because they can't be bothered to look through our mailboxes to see which one my packages are in. This is so ridiculous.

I waited 30 minutes for the line not to move. Why is one person working the desk when there are 15 people in line? That’s very disrespectful to that one representative. Hire more people and if they don’t want to work for you then PAY WHAT THEYRE WORTH. smh.

If I could leave zero stars I would.Clerk #39 was extremely rude and unprofessional during my experience here. I’m not asking for much. We should all be treated with respect and courtesy while we are there. I show the same to them, whether the line is long or short, if I’m having a bad day or a great day. We’re all human and the least we can do is have the decency to acknowledge one another in a professional manner.

Ms. Gholston was extremely professional and helpful. She assisted a frantic customer struggling with her package. She was patient and double-tasking as she helped me.

As a new resident of the area, I visited this post office to retrieve mail that was redirected. They left a pink note in the mailbox to confirm last names of addressee’s so that they can start back sending mail to my address. There was no wait, the attendant was courteous and I received the mail that I missed. I did not have any complaints or issues with this facility nor its employees. Thanks!
