The Vanivision optometry office is not a formal Costco unit, but is an independent operation working out of a very small office space adjacent to the glasses department. I don’t know if you can use the optometry services if you are not a Costco member.
The receptionist/front office workers are trained on the initial group of machines (including the automated eye scans) and start the evaluation there, as well as a check of my current glasses that are over 4 years old. The office lights are often dimmed as needed for those tests.
Dr. Patel handles the subsequent hands on evaluation of eye conditions and checks of your eyeglasses prescription.
Some reviews didn’t like the front staff, but I found them to be friendly, efficient, and professional; as was Dr. Patel himself.

I had my yearly eye exam, done and I have been using them for the last 8 years or more. The staff are pleasant & helpful, open to answering any of my questions. The Doctor is very professional & helpful. I would recommend, & have to my family and friends.
