The selection of international films, little-known movies, and TV shows on DVD is just stunning. My curiosity has an endless feast ahead.

Walked into a blast from the past and loved every minute of it. The employees are also very knowledgeable about cinema.

In one of the magazines at our hotel, it stated this was a record store, so we were surprised that it is an independent video store ( Although it really is in the name). It was cool and set up well... just not what we were seeking. But if you're looking for independent movies, this is the place.Parking is on site, but LIMITED and TIGHT.

The last, best video store in Atlanta. Staff is knowledgable and kind. The store is now predominantly blue ray-focused but still rents some standard DVDs and has LOTS of standard DVDs and VHS tapes for sale...cheap! Rentals are now a week long, to boot!Underground, cult, film history, new releases, foreign, all there.Support a local mom&pop with a long and loving history with Atlanta, and buy a tshirt or two. They soft.

It's a fine store and it is one-of-a-kind. It serves mostly blu-rays and some DVDs. There is a VHS section for purchase but it's rather small. The clerks can help you if you need to find a title for yourself, someone else, or a group. The selection is vast, international, and multi-genred yet well-organized. While many of my rentals have had damaged disk sections, none have been serious enough to make detriment to the viewing experience. They gave me a replacement DVD for a blu-ray that didn't operate correctly on my player. The value is in the vast archive and the guarantee that you have a place to walk to talk to an employee, as opposed to (paid) digital streaming which is a chute. It's worth visits because, even at the price of $5 for a one week movie rental, you can explore, talk, and support the future of archiving and in-person business.

My husband and I have gone twice now and we love it. I personally love how everything is sorted and gets into specifics about genre, director, etc. Owner is always super nice and there is a great selection. If you want to see it, Videodrome has it.

I called two weeks ago to ask about a Thai film that had no North American distribution from the production company. They didn’t have it and could not find it myself online so figured I would never see it. They called me just now to say that since I asked for it, they found it and have it in stock. Amazing.

Fun place just to visit from out of town, jealous of the collection here and I wish I had a rental store, especially one this cool, in my city. Picked up a zine and some stickers, but they also have a section of used VHS tapes and dvds available to purchase, including some Criterion Collection and Blu-ray releases.

10/10/10/10/10/10 I have Netflix and I will purposefully rent movies from videodrome that I know are on Netflix because I want to support them. Yes they have a great selection of popular new movies, but they also have the extremely niche films- regardless if it's foreign, culty, old, etc- they have it. Matt and John are absolute legends when it comes to recommendations. I love videodrome. It is truly one of my and my husband's favorite spots in Atlanta. Don't miss out!!!
