Hours: The Visually Impaired and Blind Society Is based in Atlanta, Georgia and was founded in 2016 by six blind and/or visually impaired individuals. This organization was founded in hopes of bringing awareness to and breaking the social barriers that are placed upon the visually impaired and blind community. The founders wanted to provide a platform for everyone- sighted or non-sighted- to share in their vision of bringing inclusiveness and awareness to the issues that affect individuals who have vision loss and who are going through vision loss.
