So I call myself coming home and stopping at this Kroger but the last few years the deli has gone down down down. All I want is a sub but from the looks of it WHEN I go they never have bread. Hell I dont even live here how are you out of bread. And the service from the manager is just ridiculous. How can this deli still be making any money! Dont they have a union?

I have shopped here for over 28 years. It has generally been good but things are slipping now. Some things may be out of their control but one thing they can control but are lax about is correct pricing. They often have things mis priced. If you say something they are easy about giving you the price you wanted but I dont want to have to get someone each time to change the price for me. I want to see the correct price as everyone deserves to see that. I have learned to watch the register and double check specials before leaving. When Im overcharged I just go to the service desk and give them back the overcharges and left them restock it and get a refund. They often just offer you some money without knowing what its for. This makes no sense. If a customer wants prices right just offering a set amount without looking into the issue just makes it worse. Evidently they know fixing is will be easier said than done. If you look on all the red tag specials you will OFTEN see expired dates and a normal customer doesnt see the problem and most dont look at the register tape. The store gets by with this. So people, watch carefully and make sure you are charged the correct prices OR SPEAK UP! And never let them buy you off, make them fix each overcharge!

Recently I tried out Kroger on Ponce. It's not very friendly nor is the staff granted it was evening shift around dinner time. Actually most friendly thing I ran into was "free fruit for kids to try." What a fabulous idea. Fruits & vegetables- looked as if they would expire in 24 hrs. Pricing was higher than competitors. Flowers were really overpriced but I appreciate mark down items available because sometimes you just need a little happy without budgeting for it. The store feels like warehouse. It feels disorganized. Items that go together or you normally find near each other are spaced far apart. Only deals I found were bulk deals or stale bakery items. Lots of reach in bin style coolers which I've never trusted to truly stay cool enough for dairy or meats but they do. I tried to get an item from butcher whose counter was completely full despite it being evening. He flat told me he couldn't help me because he had to unstock. The irony cracked me up. Instead he pointed me to prepackaged name brand section. One thing I learn- never ever ever use self check out with conveyor belt unless you are looking for nightmare material. It's based on weight. So, between each item you have to run down and bag it because 2 items jams the machine & help ... is not immediately available. No wonder there was no line on that odd self check. It's beside the regular self check. Also- there were lots of people trying to check out (25+) and staff lingering but not 1 checker working - only 2 helping people. Rest just watched. Other thing I was readily aware of is most people in self checkout are hardly paying for half the items. I'm not sure if it's stealing or necessity but I'm certain the rest of us are picking up the tab. PS- I was shocked at my checkout price with membership.... Ouch! Underground / garage parking is nice. Your not in summer heat nor rain but spots are limited. Enjoy your Krogering! Keep in mind- my review is strictly based on 1 location I experienced twice. Other stores might be vastly different. *I only bought items I buy weekly at competitive stores. I did not feel like I got any bargains when I got home and looked at my purchases.

I live near this Krogers. They are used to seeing me dress in normal clothing. Always treated fairly well as it is assumed I have money. (For years I've never had a problem.) The one time I wore a security guard outfit the treatment I received was dramatically different. A white female cashier didn't bag my groceries. I did so to save time however she never assisted. I stated to her she needed to help. (I shouldn't have to bag at all.) She then pretended to bag my groceries. As I finished bagging she again pretended to be assisting. She kept saying she was, "So sorry" however never bagged a single grocery. I knew this would happen however. As a black man dressed in normal clothing again it is assumed I have money because I'm a regular and that neighborhood is wealthy. As a black man wearing a security guard uniform the white cashier thought it beneath her to do her job and bag my groceries. Never again will I ever shop there. I knew this would happen and it did. This minimum wage white cashier felt it was beneath her to serve a black man she though she had more money than. I'll never shop there again. Never.

There are a lot of Krogers in Atlanta. I've used them all. This is the worst by a mile. After driving around all day looking for lacrosse free milk to use a coupon with, I find it here. But due to a mistake in the fine print I technically couldn't use the coupon. The "manager" at the customer service desk implied I was trying to pull a fast one on them and explained coupons to me like I was a child. They could have been human beings and treated me like a human being. They actively chose to do neither. Avoid these people!

Nice store but only three stars due to them not having Apple Pay, android pay etc. I went shopping and don't have a debit card as my account was hacked to only be told they don't accept that types of payment. Such a shame.

First Krogay, then next door to Publix(higher priced produce!) Plenty of staff to help you find anything from memory of stock work! Everybody responds when walking & talking through the aisles!!

The lady at self checkout this past Sunday night around 8pm should not be employed by this establishment. Horrible customer service, nasty attitude and should be terminated! I left my groceries and ended up shopping at Publix and I will shop there moving forward.

Always understaffed. Perscriptions are never ready on time. They quoted a time to pickup and then said it would be another 30 minutes

I ran in to grab a few items for todays dinner. It was semi crowded with shelf check on one side and one belt lane open. Wait time was 2-3 minutes to checkout.

This used to be one of the best wine selections in the south east. You could find hard to locate wines in this enormous wine section. Now it's just a bunch of mass produced vineyards that have no boutique feel. As always, Kroger management got rid of it. Save your time and go somewhere else. Maybe 7-Eleven has the same selection

This is a great all around store. They have done an earnest job during Covid trying to keep things safe for the customers as well as the workers. There is a mask policy which most people adhere to(vs. Publix next door that does not!) The curbside pickup was great for the first 8 months of the pandemic and then it went down hill. I was disappointed but I started getting more comfortable shopping after I was vaccinated. They have done away with the butcher and meat counter which really disappoints my husband. Please bring it back! The wine selection really is superb and affordable. I have also switched my Rx to this pharmacy too. They are so professional and consistently on top of things. All in all the workers are so nice and helpful and have worked there for years and years. That in itself tells a lot about this Krogers. I highly recommend shopping here.

This b**** manager who did not ask her employer to Go outside and eat or charge her phone, but asked me and another customer if we could go outside to eat and drink the food we had just paid for, but refused to even bother me while I was inside eating without paying for my s*** first. She said she's the only manager at the store, but I find that hard to believe when she can't be here all the time, so someone has to be a manager when she's not here. I've had a very offensive and i consider this sexual orientation discrimination.

This Kroger is okay. The selection is decent and the meat department is good. But there always seems to be a line and I've yet to see all of the self checkouts working. In fact, they seem to keep half of them at one side of the store turned off at all times. This makes the line much longer than it needs to be. The produce is the worst part it looks old and of poor quality.
