It was our first time holding an event like this, which as an event planner, had me a bit nervous. However, the experience was excellent!The owner, Krishna (I hope I didn't spell that wrong), was great with communicating with me to get the event planned.When we entered, the place was so cute. It really captured a Tuscany ambiance. The ladies working with us were fantastic. Anja was a sweetheart and was leading the team that night. They knew exactly what they were talking about and enjoyed speaking to our attendees individually about the different wines.It was a social tasting, so it allowed everyone to go at their own pace and offer opportunities to network with one-another. We also ordered the charcutier board which came out looking absolutely exquisite.Throughout the night, the attendees were thrilled with the experience, providing nods of approval and even begging me to bring an event back to this location. Which, we most certainly will!I never really write reviews for businesses I've worked with but, with this being a woman owned business, I felt it necessary to leave my review. PLUS working with these ladies had been one of the greatest teams I had the pleasure of working with.

I love the “Wineshoe!” My experience was top tier. Most recently I planned my private birthday party there. It was a great wine tasting and pairing. The wine that was selected was excellent and the food tasted amazing. My favorite was was the braised beef with the mashed potatoes. My husband and guests had a wonderful time. We were educated on each wine, learned some great tips, and enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous. Krishna is nothing short of amazing! I must add the customer service was excellent and we look forward to returning in the near future.The Sweetest Thing Events

What a Sensational Saturday!!! First time at Wine Shoe, and it was a pleasant experience. Krishna, the owner was so sweet and nice. This wine tasting was $5 for 4 Rose' selections. That's a deal , yeah? I purchased my ticket online and immediately called My yelp sister to join me. You could also Walk in and join in the tasting. After tasting the 4 selections I got a pour of my favorite.. from a woman winemaker.. it was delicious. The bottle was $32.99. There is on street parking.. but no luck there. There is a parking garage around the corner... there is some way to gain access to get to the shop.. but I went the way I came. Park on the first level 2 hours Free. I truly enjoyed myself it was a pleasant experience.

Today was what I called "Tasting wine with your sister day ". My sister Cassandra H/ fellow Yelper. Sent me a link to check out a wine tasting at Wine Shoe. And yes immediately bought my ticket. The host/owner of Wine Shoe offered a small cheese board to along with your tasting. For an additional small fee of course. Wine Shoe is a small beautiful quaint cellar. A perfect date night spot to try some new wines or even have a small wine gathering with some friends. Today we tried 4 Rosé wines. Out of the 4 ideally enjoyed just 1but like another. They other 2 was too dry for my liking. But I did leave with 1 bottle that the owner introduced to me. I'm sorry I keep saying owner but for the life of me I can't remember her name or her husband's name. But what I can remember is that I had a nice time and I highly recommend visiting the Wine Shoe to get a good bottle of wine.

Such a lovely and special neighborhood wine shop. So welcoming, not intimidating if you are new to wine, and very helpful and friendly staff. I trust all their recommendations and pairings. Stop in, do a tasting, and get to know this shop!

I would've enjoyed it more if it was a private event. I went for Black History Month which they let you tasted different wine that was created by African Americans. Furthermore, I wished we could've gotten the lecture as a whole instead of having each group going up to the bar to tasted the wine. It kind of felt a little unorganized during my visit. I will try it again but only as a private party.

Best wine shop in the city. Events are exceptional. Wine selection is exceptional. Great central location as well! It's a woman owned business, and Krishna loves sharing her deep knowledge with all of her guests. She knows her stuff, and even cooks amazing pairings for her food-and-wine tastings. Their membership club is also an amazing experience with a great variety of wines sampled from all over the world, and at a very reasonable price. Krishna works hard to bring great wines to the area and we've really appreciated meeting others while visiting the store. You won't be disappointed. It's an awesome experience and show in the city!

This place is close to Mercedes Benz Stadium & easy to get too! Our wine host was very informative about wines, the wine display was FULL & I thought I was in Italy! The customer service was awesome and it’s a must you try the Prenier wine… you will not be disappointed!

Great place to buy, taste, and consume wine. We are at the Riesling tasting. We sampled 4 Rieslings and the Blue Nun was the best for me. Cute spot! Very nice informative ladies giving the presentation. Nice vibe! I'll be back for sure!

The owners and staff are super friendly and very knowledgable in wine. They can do an impromptu wine tasting any day of the week with 3 or 4 wines. Instead of having a set of specific wines for anyone on a given day, you tell them what you like in a wine and they will custom build a tasting based on that and what wines they have open.

My husband and I found this wine location while visiting a Yelp event. We walked in and were transformed into a cozy welcoming space with a wall lined with wines! Like most wine stores, the region and description of the wine is nearby. What makes Wine Shop stand out? The Wine Shop doesn't just sell wines they sell an experience. We joined their wine club. We attended our first event. They pick six wines from different geographical areas and have a wine tasting social once a month. You sample the wines and depending on your membership, pick (three or six) wine bottles after experiencing them. It's included in your membership fee. We enjoyed tasting the wine and actually picking wines we know we will enjoy. We have poured out too many bottles of wines we highly disliked. We look forward to doing this with friends when they come. The owners are so personable and are truly vested in learning which wines you enjoy.
