Yarning for Ewe is the only place to go for all your knitting and crocheting needs! Maansi and Betty are always so helpful and they have high quality products. I like that the intro classes are individualized and I got personal instructions, which allowed me to learn to knit very quickly. Their group classes are enjoyable as well and they offer a variety of projects. Visit the store for a great experience!

Yarning for Ewe, owned by mother-daughter duo Betty and Maansi Shah, is a beautiful local yarn store in metro Atlanta. If you are looking for high-quality yarn, they have it. If you are looking for tools, notions, and accessories for knitting or crocheting, you can find what you need there too. Yarning for Ewe also offers a variety of classes, KALs, and CALs for new and more experienced crafters alike. Everyone is welcome to the crafting table. If you call metro Atlanta home or are visiting the area, Yarning for Ewe is a must-visit yarn shop.

Love this store! Found it when searching online, and recently visited - it's well-stocked and well-loved. The environment is so inviting and cozy. This has become my virtual LYS because I don't live nearby. Customer service is amazing!

This is a high end yarn shop. Not Michael’s or JoAnns. That’s what we are coming here for. They are great. Maansi is fantastic. Classes are great. Love it!

I wanted to learn how to knit and a friend recommended Yarning for Ewe. I wandered in one Sunday afternoon and have been a regular ever since. I have taken multiple classes and love the creative energy in the store. No one has ever made me feel "less than" for being a beginner, and have been so encouraging and supportive. Amazing selection of yarn at all price points, and lots of ideas for projects for any skill level. Cannot say enough nice things about the store and the community.

This is a very nice local yarn store as all local yarn stores are, it appears they have free knit although I didn't participate in it when I visited.
The thing is they have one brand of yarn they sell for 10 dollars, and everything else is between 35-100 dollars per sceen. I've been knitting and crocheting for 16 years. I know yarns get expensive. However not carrying anything in the low range is a huge deterrent and I will not be shopping here again.
Most of my favorite local yarn stores have SEVERAL options in the 10-15 dollar price point, and when each project is going to require several sceens of yarn, those options let me pick something affordable. I won't make a sweater with yarn that's $40 a sceen. It hurts all the local yarn stores when places like this only sell very very pricey yarn options, pushing people to buy online. I'm not saying the options this store stocked shouldn't be pricey, just that they need cheaper options as well!!

Great local yarn shop that i have been a customer of since 2019 (when I took my first knitting lesson with them). They have unique, diverse and high quality yarns from independent yarn companies that you will not find at big box shops. With their guidance, my daughter and I have progressed from knowing how to knit 1 stitch to making customized garmets and finding a community of local knitting enthusiasts.

I moved back to Atlanta in early September 2023. I was looking to join a community to make friends and Yarning for Ewe was more than welcoming! I’ve been coming to knit with the ladies and everyone is warm and kind! The ladies who own the shop are knowledgeable and friendly! I’ve taken two knit alongs and have made sweaters with the shop. If you come in on the weekend, it’s a party at the table! Yarning for ewe is a fun place to be and a great place to learn!

If you're looking for a local yarn store, this is one. They've got a good selection that will dwarf your local big box.
If you're looking for a welcoming environment for enthusiasts of all fiber arts, drive on by.
The two times I've stopped in here, I've gotten what I needed but felt less than welcome. The staff seemed reluctant to help and more annoyed by my presence, especially once I started asking about crochet tools.
