Allied van lines was a great choice for our move. We are very thankful for the service that they provided. They gave us a quote and recommended that them come back out to give another quote when the move got closer. They fix or replace items that were damaged in shipping. The level of professionalism is far above my expectations. This is not a paid review great job Allied!

Was the worst experience in moving I have had and I have moved 11 times. Packers were clueless ending up with multiple damaged, dented, and broken items. Driver had a major chip on her shoulder which made communication difficult. Unloaded were not a team and did not like each other to the point that the driver had to call them aside to settle them down. All in all it was not a pleasant experience and I would never use Allied again.

I was very pleased. Jason Bell was amazing and so was Jose who helped him load in Augusta. They were punctual and very careful with my belonging. Jason was very professional, but also pleasant and friendly. It was a joy working with him. Donna was great at keeping me posted.

I had the bad luck of getting 2 inexperienced movers. They did not know how to pack my items. Nor did they know how to secure them in their truck.

Didn't bring our furniture until the last day of their window. Lost one item and damaged 3 items and did not reassemble two items.

While my move was not a total disaster, I would not recommend Allied Van Lines to anyone. The driver showed up several hours later than I was told he would. When he called to let me know that he was on his way, he did not seem familiar with any aspects of my move—asking questions like did I have any bulky items to move & how many boxes did I have. Once he arrived with his 2 local helpers, things appeared to be going smoothly enough, & the movers seemed to be taking care in wrapping furniture & not damaging walls or floors. They all seemed grateful to receive a tip at the end of the process. Later that evening, I discovered that $180 in 20 dollar bills had been taken from my purse. I immediately emailed the moving coordinator to let her know of the theft. She said she would investigate, & I also filed a police incident report. She has since reported that the driver & workers all denied any wrongdoing, & I have yet to be compensated for my loss. The same driver delivered my furniture at my new home, hiring only 1 helper this time. They took no special precautions to protect my brand new wood flooring, leaving a number of scratches. Although they assembled a bed for me, they also left a gouge in the wall while doing so. Several pieces of furniture had dings & scratches that had not been there prior to the move. The one positive about the delivery was that it occurred on the first day of the promised delivery window & was on time that day. Also, I was relieved that my piano appeared to be undamaged. Overall, I can not in good faith recommend Allied to anyone. I had a relatively small load of furniture to move—besides the piano, just one queen-size bed (with box spring & mattress), a bunk bed frame, a low buffet, 3 tall bookshelves, 4 medium-sized cabinets, several other small pieces of furniture, & a number of boxes (don’t ask how many, LOL). I shudder to think what additional issues may have occurred with a larger move.Services: Moving-related packing

The movers were friendly, polite, professional and efficient. My wife and I were impressed by how quickly we were moved out of our old house and into our new home. They were punctual, showing up exactly on time. The office personnel communicated with us often and were there for us every step of the way. I was very pleased and couldn't recommend Allied and our moving team higher!

Worst company ever, we requested to use the guys we had before but the move consultant DB. said Allied company was using local boys to move us 257 miles he claimed they were very experience. (Not our 1st. move) They arrived late and the driver/boss was very angry he called dispatch cussing up a storm, Odd beginning, I should have stopped everything and send them away. He worked his guys to death, his inability to pack a truck took 12 hours! It was horrible, all the damage to the furniture that was just tossed in a big pile in the truck with aluminum ladders thrown on top of wooden furniture, where were the blankets that were promised and was told were included with the price that could have prevented some scratches in the furniture! Don't bother paying additiional charges, we paid 35.00 for wrapping up a latex mattress. If you buy insurance, You'll never get the value on the item they ruined & good luck in dealing with customer service.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. We received a lot of our things just thrown into boxes, including knives. They threw our dry goods into a box, and they put onions in there as well!! My dryer arrived with a big dent on the top, and scratches all over. Additionally, they completely broke a desk, rubbed the fabric on the couch and put a hole in it. One of the crates arrived with everything "this side up" on its side. 80% of our things were packed improperly. Still not even done unpacking and beyond disappointed with the piss poor job they did packing our home. I would never in my life suggest this company to anyone even if it was free.

This was our first time using a moving company or moving out of state. We used Allied (Coleman) and from day one they were incredible. Someone came by our apartment to look at everything and deliver an estimate. It was a guaranteed price and what we were quoted was what we paid. The movers came by and there were on time, quick, and efficient. They picked up our stuff from Georgia on Friday and had it to our new apartment in Virginia by Monday morning. Shannon called while the movers were loading and unloading to make sure everything was going well. They seemed to really care that we were happy.
