Purchased a unit and when I got there to unload, a homeless incampment was going on in the unit right next door. Called to complain, and nothing was done. Eventually got someone on the phone to cancel my unit and get my money back late that night. Back today to get my things to move to another storage facility and they are back camping outside of my unit.

Trapped inside gate for almost 2 hours due to their issues with their gate. I was required to call Richmond county fire dept to open the gate after having the U-Haul run for an extra hour plus. The next morning the gate was still not operating correctly and would not accept a code. Rude and disrespectful employee on site when I went to follow up the next day. Too many options to waste time and money here. Keep looking, do not give them your business. Sorry not sorry.Nothing but excuses. Your team did nothing. No contact after. No contact the day of. I'm negative money due to this. I absolutely will not give you another chance. I got scorpions in the house now from things I had in your unit. Clown show. Go somewhere else too many options. Technology age... You knew stuff was wrong and you chose not to do anything.

I could not get into the gate today. I had to call 3 times. The first time I was put on hold, when the lady got back to the phone, she put it on mute where I couldn't hear her. I called back and was told I would get a call in a few minutes as the "temporary code " also didn't work. Never got a call back. I call again and the woman was rude and wrong trying to say I had a balance and I do not. A truck pulled up behind me, I let him in front of me and his code didn't work either. I got out and told him I believe it's the gate. Two other people pulled up and I told them the same. The lady on the phone says she can't reach the manager and would call me back. On of the ladies behind me says it's been down all day. I back up to turn around and leave, one of the guys behind me turns put to be the owner and lives on the property. He let's himself and the truck I let ahead of me right in. Instead of saying, no worries I can get you in when I approached him to tell him the gate was acting up. He simply said, ok thanks. So of course as I turn back around to try to get in with my code and the temporary code, no luck and owner was not in site at the gate to help.

ISSUE NOT RESOLVEDSo not only did this place charge me twice when I moved in and try to play it off like it was my fault. MY UNIT WAS ROBBED. I 100% locked my unit the last time I was there. I used the lock they provide with the unit. DO NOT DO THAT. All the locks on my row were flipped up. Someone had been trying them probably because they were a generic brand and not that unique per key. After taking a television, dumping a bag of hair products and other random items into my unit (so weird) they put the lock back but kept it unlocked. This makes me think they were planning to come back to take more items. I left to get a new lock, came back and noticed a car (small car) full of a bunch of people. They used a code to get in and slowly pulled up to the office when they noticed i was behind them. I went to my unit and left the way they came. They were turned around and just talking to the “manager” girl who was there. Then left. Why do random people who do not utilize the faculty have access here? Why are employees “friends” given access? To be honest this is looking like quite the INSIDE JOB. I filed a police report and am giving them all of this information. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO A MORE SECURE FACILITY. I WILL BE MAKING A BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU COMPLAINT.

WOW! I've used storage for nearly 15 years now and I have never had an easier experience than this. You can move in COMPLETELY OVER THE PHONE without having to deal with a salesman trying to sell you something you don't need. It even came with a FREE LOCK inside of my unit! Very clean, Very simple and a great location. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for simplicity.
