Stylist, Tacara “GrippGod” lacks respect and has poor customer service skills. She took pride on insulting me and presented as obnoxious.
She informed me of all of her stipulations on the day of my appt. By then it was too late too cancel without penalty of being charged hundreds. She required full cash payment upfront so my booking app protection was voided. It seemed like she intentionally wanted me to say nvm so she didn’t have to do any work.
My braids started slipping out within a week. Too much hair was used given the small parts . The braids fell out from the follicles throughout and even around my EDGES. $300+ down the drain plus I had to invest in restoration products for bald spots. This is the only place you can leave an honest review because they control who can leave reviews on the booking app. The owner of the salon knows but won’t intervene.

If I could give it zero stars I would. Do not go to this shop completely unprofessional and money hungry. My wife had an appointment for my daughter on Saturday. The stylist Tocara cancelled her appointment the day of and rescheduled for Monday. Individual has a bunch of arbitrary rules to get paid the money and get out of doing the hair. When my wife showed up she said she was charging extra because my daughter hair was thick and stated the money needed to be paid up front. On top of this the stylist had someone in her chair so she never had any intention of doing my daughters hair. She ended up charging my wife 150 dollars total for a cancelled appointment I have never in 32 years heard of a cancellation fee being that high. Do not go to this shop.

Tocara is absolutely the worst and most unprofessional stylist. My sister took my niece to get her hair done , which the previous appointment was already canceled and rescheduled per stylist. Once getting to the appointment not only was Tocara extremely unfriendly. All of a sudden she mentioned a hidden fee that was not prior discussed or mentioned. My sister and declined and Tocara still charged her bank card $150 cancelation fee basically stealing. The manager also has no control of her staff as she mentions there is nothing she can do. Stay aware and away from this establishment.

Bethany did an AWESOME job on my hair. Cut and style it to perfection! She has a very pleasant, professional attitude. The atmosphere was also pleasant. I would recommend EVERYONE cause she’s the BEST hands down. I’m 1000% satisfied and will be returning.

Bethany is it y'all! Before I went completely natural years ago, she used to style my relaxed, short hair. I used to ALWAYS get complements on my hair back then. More recently during this past visit, she gave me a blowout. I've never had a blowout that I've been 100% happy with, until she did it. She doesn't weigh your hair down with unnecessary products, she knows what a TRIM is (unlike some stylists who will actually cut your hair and call it a trim). My hair is still just as bouncy as it was when I left the salon a few days ago, and I'm still getting complements on the appearance and condition of my hair. Try her! You won't be disappointed!
