The store is great. Online service is pretty bad

Went to get the purchase, as I was on the list to pickup. Claimed that my name didn't show up, so they made it even harder for me to pickup and I had 25 mins til closing. Night before Xmas I understand the protocols but I was on the phone with the person who made the purchase online, I provided all info needed, and needless to say I had to leave and go pick up the person who paid for the item, and when she walks in they don't even attempt to i.d. her. And this was the worst experience while just trying to pick up my order....

No Workers Around To Help. When I Did Find 1 They Had No Knowledge Of What They Even Sell

I feel cheated and swindled. I bought a 3k Kitchenaid refrigerator and it was delivered today. Mind you, while we were purchasing in the store, we told the sales guy that our water source was on the other side of the kitchen. He said it wouldn't be a problem because we can get it installed if it is less than 25 feet away. We confirmed that it was. He then charged about $120 to $150 for the kit and install. Fast forward to today. The install couldn't be done because a regular 6 foot line was included. I then called Best Buy just to be told by some kid that he didn't know what to tell me because they delivered what they said they would. I said that the least they could do is refund me for services not rendered and he said I'd have to go to the Evans GA store in person to ask for that. Talk about adding insult to injury! The store is 30 miles away!

I had a radio installed and the installer did a great job.
2025 with staff cutbacks it is a little more difficult finding a salesperson, but once you do, they are usually helpful.

Do not buy anything from this Best Buy, I have bought items from Best Buy for years and this is the worst. I recently bought a 40”Samsung TV and also a 55” Samsung TV. I took the 40” home and set it up myself. The Geeks came to mount and set up my 55”. I told the Geeks that I just bought a Samsung and set it up and it doesn’t seem to work or navigate like it should. The Geeks looked up the TV and it is a 2019—that was made before Covid! I called customer service and they told me I passed the deadline of returning the TV because I only had 15 days to return. I would not have bought it if I knew it was a 2019. So, I am stuck with a 6 year old TV. Warning Do Not Buy Anything Here!!

I ordered a fridge back on October 11th, 2021. The first fridge was delivered damaged on the 15th. Afterwards, I was told I would be contacted to fix the issue, I was not and had to call myself. I was then told that the next available delivery would be on the 30th. Lo and behold today, it wasn't entered into the system properly, and now the next available delivery date is the 17th of November, 2021. It will be over a month by the time I get a fridge that I've already paid for.
Update: it's been 4 years now, and we decided to give best buy another chance with delivery for a stove and a freezer. We were told by the salesperson that the delivery would happen on the date we chose because both units were in the store. The night before our scheduled delivery that we were promised would happen, we get a phone call that there has been a delay at their main warehouse in Minnesota, and now it's going to be another week before our products will be arriving.

Geek Squad is horrible, I am now having to turn my computer in 3 times due to their mistakes. How do you image the wrong hard drive and erase all my files on my backup drive and then go back in and put Windows on the correct drive, and then erase 7 years of college and all my files on my back up drive. I have spent over $200 dollars and the initial job has still not been fixed. None of their Geek Squad members are the ones fixing it. They either send it off or have someone remote into the computer and repair it from another location. Lets talk about a waste of money Best Buy, you may want to start cutting employees and hire actual techs. This is a worthless service.

Ordered an iPad online. Wife picked it up at the store. Tamper seal was broken at pickup. Associate told her that's how they all are. Could not call the store, only able to talk to contact center in Bangalore. Had to go to store a second time today. Associate tried to justify that if course it was new in box and never opened. Even though you can see the sides of the box are stretched. He opened it, stretching the box sides, and tried to prove to me it was NIB. Then after finally convincing him I should be able to get an actual sealed box for my $1400 I got to wait with a suspended transaction to ticket in the apple section for someone to help me. 10 minutes later and another complete explanation of my joyful experience the person gets a new one. Won't let me touch the precious thing since it has recently been in captivity, like I might steal it, even though they are currently holdint my money which I used to pay for the thing. Only to find out after she pulls up the suspended transaction that oooh it's a different model. 10 more minutes of joyful waiting and then I get to drive an hour home with this device I should have just paid more for from Amazon.
Edit... What makes you think I want to hit you up on insta. I tried to call your customer service like a normal human and your corporate office but those channels don't accept calls about things customers care about. So if you want to talk to me about it how about you make anything people actually use for communication work like they should instead of throwing me your socials.

After learning of the experience my mother had with Best Buy Augusta I felt the need to inform others of the pure lack of human compassion these folks have. Leaving an 81 year old lady, who is unable to drive, without water for any amount of time much less a week borders o criminal negligence. The store manager as well as the customer service manager should both be fired due to their inept policies, failure to respond to customers in need and their inability to monitor and control services provided by subcontractors they hired!! Best Buy has made it quite obvious that their only concern is the sale. Calling customer service only gets you a minimum wage individual that reads from a scripted text with no ability whatsoever to help. The attitude there is we will get to it when we feel like it no matter the distress it causes. I would not recommend this store or its services unless they hire skilled management that can spell customer service.

My 81yo mother purchased a new washing machine from Best Buy for her home which had a planned delivery and installation date for yesterday. The installers came around 5PM and proceeded to BREAK a water pipe inside the wall during their attempt to install. They proceeded to leave my mother with no water AT ALL to her home and a number to call to FILE a CLAIM. She filed a claim and her instructions from the CLAIMS office were to wait for a call for next steps. This was yesterday. Today, we attempted to call the CLAIMS office X3. The recording said the office was closed X3. We called the number for the Augusta store, which went to a call center who said,”the stores do not answer their own calls anymore”. The “customer service” provider was told what happened and that we need water in the home NOW and not some arbitrary future date. We said we would get our own plumber but the service rep would not guarantee that Best Buy would pay for the plumber. After my INSISTENCE to speak with a supervisor, I was told that someone would call me within the hour. It has been 2hrs20min and no call. SURPRISE! The customer service rep repeated herself to me saying “it has been escalated”. The robotic approach to customers is unacceptable, That they left my 81yo mother who is unable to drive with no water and NO immediate PLAN to remedy the situation is wreckless, irresponsible, negligent and incomprehensible.

No assistance with buying appliances. 2 folks called for help (someone who was going on lunch break and the manager). We waited entirely too long, was walking out when someone finally came to our aid. Please put these guys on commission to help incentivize them!
